I went to this dealership looking for a specific vehicle. Met with salesman Thomas Caravello. We discuss details. He shows me sticker price, and texts me the sticker. He then shows me a deal sheet with a hig Met with salesman Thomas Caravello. We discuss details. He shows me sticker price, and texts me the sticker. He then shows me a deal sheet with a higher price claiming supply and demand. Funny thing is the price got higher after I told Thomas I had my own financing and let him know I had a GM Supplier Discount. I was still interested in the new vehicle so I put a $100 deposit to "reserve" it. I didn’t have my trade in with me that day. It took 4 days of communicating with Thomas for someone to be available to look at the vehicle. In fact Thomas was so non-responsive that I emailed Mike Ostrow to make him aware of the situation. ( I saw Mike's name because he seems to be who responds to these reviews...he's a Client Relations / Damage Control person I'm guessing ) Within minutes of emailing Mike, he responded. He did not know why Thomas was delaying, and he informed me he will print out my email and speak with Thomas's supervisors. Shortly after that, Thomas called me. After my trade in was looked at, I asked several people over the course of several days, including Thomas, Finian, and Martin Cosimo for the final price after trade in, discount, taxes, and fees. 4 days of asking, not 1 of them sent me an invoice. All of this communication with Thomas was by text, so it's all documented. On the 4th day, Thomas informed me that Marty would not honor the discount. ( I spoke to Martin the night before and informed him of discount, he never told me it wouldn't be honored ) But they still hadn’t given me a final invoice. I called dealership and neither Thomas or Marty were available to speak, so I left a message to cancel my deal. This deal started on 8/3/22, it was now 8/12/22. Thomas calls back to inform me I have to come to dealership to get reservation fee credited. After hanging up with Thomas I email Martin Cosimo, Mike Ostrow, and Thomas Caravello to let them know my displeasure in this transaction dragging way too long. Not 1 of them responded trying to resolve the issue. I go to dealership, see George at desk. I explain to him why deal won’t work. Sitting on desk in front of George is the invoice that no one could take the time to send me after 4 days of asking. George asks Thomas " You didn't send this to him? " Thomas replied " I was off Wednesday". I informed Thomas in front of George that I had been asking for the invoice on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and twice on Friday. George processed my refund, but did not seem to want to get involved saving the deal either. The first day I met Thomas he told me he just returned from quitting Millenium Chevrolet because of “too much nonsense” with the dealership. I agree, way too much nonsense here… These individuals just pass you off to someone else instead of trying to rectify a situation, and there is absolutely no communication or teamwork amongst the group. If I had wanted to set up financing through Millenium Chevrolet, I am sure I would have been treated much better. Dealerships make part of their money by arranging financing through lenders; by me already having my own source of financing, they would not make as much money selling me the vehicle as they will selling it to someone who wants to get financing through them. Also, I work for a large national company that we get the GM Supplier Discount from. We have thousands of employees ( at least 3,000 on Long Island alone ), and the company buys most of its fleet from GM, that is why we get the discount. The discount does not cause a dealership to lose profit, it is a discount off the price the dealer pays the manufacturer, GM, for the vehicle. I have no trust or faith in the Millenium brand. I will not do business with any of their dealerships ever again, nor will I refer them to any of my family, friends, or collogues at work. More
