I recently purchased a 2009 Civic from this dealer after receiving their internet quote. Mike is the salesman, and he is very nice, very friendly and knows the product really well. While making the purcha receiving their internet quote. Mike is the salesman, and he is very nice, very friendly and knows the product really well. While making the purchase, I was told that wheel locks($129) and vin etching ($169) is already on the vehicle so I had to pay for it. I did not want the VIN etching and I am not exactly pleased about it, but I thought whatever, the price for the vehicle is really good. Then came a guy named Joe who offered me extended service contract through Zurich on the vehicle for 1400, with money back guarantee. I declined the offer, and he came back with $1,095 for 6 years/100K miles, without the money back guarantee. Joe gave me the option of paying the entire thing up front or I can finance it over 18 months @ 0%. I took it thinking I have 60 days to change my mind anyway. Three weeks later, I went back to the dealer to cancel the service contract because I found a different cheaper service contract with longer term from the manufacturer. I met with Joe. I supposed in his attempt to make me feel bad about canceling the service contract I purchased from him, he said certain things that made me decide that I will never do business with them again. First, he claimed that I have the stupid money back guarantee with my contract, which is clearly a lie as that was the reason he lowered the price in the first place. Second, he told me that there were fees involved with financing the contract at 0% which amounts to 15%. He told me that if I had paid cash up front, it would have been approximately $900. Again, that was a lie. He offered me the option to pay the full $1,095 plus tax or finance it over 18 months @ 0%. IF I had paid in cash up front, I would have been charged the "fees" regardless. I am not sure if that is even legal as this was not disclosed to me upfront. Secondly, I inquire about the VIN etching that my car supposedly have. I had a different salesperson look over my vehicle to see if it is there. It wasn't just like I suspected. So again, for some reason, they referred to this guy Joe. I told him that since it wasn't there, and I did not want it in the first place, I would like a credit for the amount they had previously charged me so that I can get something else. They refused to give me the credit and he proceeded to put 6 stickers on my car. What a scam. They make me pay for something I didn't want, and it wasn't even on the car!! I'll just chalked it up to my inexperience and let them took advantage of me with their shady business practices. I could have gone to a different with their quote and got similar price on the car. I came in to purchase a car after getting into an awful accident that left me with no vehicle. I called and spoke to Allen on the phone and explain the type of car I was looking for as well as the price I accident that left me with no vehicle. I called and spoke to Allen on the phone and explain the type of car I was looking for as well as the price I was trying to stay within. He said he had 5 cars that suited my needs, but when I got there he showed me 3 cars that were totally different than the ones I asked for. I ended up finding another car I loved and took it for a drive. It was a good deal above my price range, though. We sat down to talk options, and after I explained that I just needed time to look and think about it about four times to Allen, he called over Mike Walsh who again started to push me into saying yes. I stood up and said that I was uncomfortable with the level of persistence they were applying, and that was when Mike Walsh stood up, slammed his chair on the ground, and actually shouted at me that he was about to lower the price of the car I liked but instead they are going to refuse to take a deposit to hold the car from me. When I asked him to stop shouting, he shouted even louder and told me to leave. I was SO upset by his immature and irrational and unprofessional actions that I spoke to the sales manager, Frank Smith, who apologized for Mike's behavior. Although Frank was a nice guy about it, I am incredibly disappointed in my experience and highly recommend that you take your business ANYWHERE but here. They are overly pushly and just plain rude and unprofessional people. More
Shopping at Piazza was a mixed experience for me. Shopping at Piazza was a mixed experience for me. Karl, the salesman, really was very knowledgeable about the product and was pleasant and helpful. Shopping at Piazza was a mixed experience for me. Karl, the salesman, really was very knowledgeable about the product and was pleasant and helpful. I would give him positive ratings. I was considering trading a vehicle. Piazza's offer, even after they came up another $1,000 was still lower than I received anywhere else. This might have been OK but they were also only knocking a few hundred dollars off of their car where other dealers were willing to go closer to invoice price. I decided not to trade my vehicle but to lease instead. The quoted price seemed high so I decided to shop around further. I did inform Piazza that I would be shopping and to povide me their very best offer, the offer remained unchanged. I contacted 3 other dealers who all quoted me payments elsewhere that were an average of $25 a month less. If I eliminated the Navi, I also had two dealers quoting me $75 a month less. One dealer even needed to get the car via a dealer swap but was willing to do so within 24 hours and had located an available one. At this point I was an educated consumer. Piazza is local and Karl was a good guy so I figured if they would match the offers I would buy from them. This is where things got odd. First they insisted that I could not possibly be getting the prices I was quoted. (I did, they were real, car is now in my driveway). They did not have what I was looking for at the Pottstown location. I asked if they could check one of their other two Honda locations (Reading and Phila). I was told that in order to get any discounts I would have to take a vehicle that they had in inventory at that location. Then came the lecture about how I should not be shopping for price and that other dealers should not be discounting these cars as it hurts the residual value of the brand. OK, have a nice day, I picked up my car from Conicelli that evening. More
I am writing this review simply because of outstanding service that I received at Piazza Honda. I purchased a 2007 Honda Civic in February of 2007. Nine months later it developed a brake problem. On service that I received at Piazza Honda. I purchased a 2007 Honda Civic in February of 2007. Nine months later it developed a brake problem. On the spur of the moment immediately after a doctor's appointment, I drive into the dealership and explained the problem to Donna Dunn. She promptly brought the car into the service bay and had a mechanic check the brakes. When the problem was found, it required overnight maintenance, so she procured a rental car for me free of charge. The car was fixed the next day, also free of charge, and one happy customer drove home. I have never received such fast, courteous service. There was no finger pointing or argument, just a "let's see what we can do to solve this problem" attitude that was maintained throughout the experience. I can't say enough good things about Donna Dunn and her team. More
I went through many of the dealerships internet departments. I got responses only from 2 of them and Mike Piazza Honda was the fastest and most honest with me. I have read the previous comments t departments. I got responses only from 2 of them and Mike Piazza Honda was the fastest and most honest with me. I have read the previous comments that were posted and I wanted make sure I mentioned that this Brett person no longer works there. I also wanted to make mention that Sandy was very nice to me and was very patient with me. She went above and beyond and even bought my kids ice cream along the test drive. Looking forward to my next purchase. More
Received information over the internet from Sandy. She was nice enough. When I came in to buy, she handed me over to Brett. He was HORRIBLE! He is what everyone hates in a "car salesman". Snotty and a was nice enough. When I came in to buy, she handed me over to Brett. He was HORRIBLE! He is what everyone hates in a "car salesman". Snotty and abrasive. I will never shop with this dealer again and I will never recommend them to anyone. Main Line Honda and Marty Sussman Honda are head and shoulders above. More
They sent out a mailer with a huge black key in it, not noting on the envelope that the key was actually in the envelope, and that this key would be able to jam up your shredder, even if your shredder has noting on the envelope that the key was actually in the envelope, and that this key would be able to jam up your shredder, even if your shredder has the ability to shred CD's and staples. This envelope in no way indicates that an actual "key" is inside of the envelope. Even after opening the envelope, the "key" did not drop from the paperwork inside, and I put the paperwork thru my very expensive shredder and completely damaged it. Mike Piazza Honda, doesn't feel they are at all cupable for this, and finds it amuzing at best, that this happened to one of the people receiving their recent promotional advertisement. Since they purchased people's names off a mailing list, and we didn't ask for this mailing, they should hold some responsiblity for this; but they refuse to. More
Stay away from Sandy and Brett. Nasty. Very nasty people. I talked to Marrissa on the phone, she seemed OK, She told me the sale prices for the Accord in May 06. Talk to her to get the lowdown on t people. I talked to Marrissa on the phone, she seemed OK, She told me the sale prices for the Accord in May 06. Talk to her to get the lowdown on the pricing before the vultures in store can tell you differently. But Marrisa's only internet sales, she won't be your saleswomen, plus haveing the internet sales people only adds more people to gang up on you, which isn't a good tacktic to dealing with a car dealership like this. This place is everything you would expect from a nasty car dealership. When i walked in they were alful to me. Brett, was very snooty and so was Sandy. after being there for 45seconds they asked me what i wanted in a monthly payment, they laughed in my face, and accessed my trade in and told me a civic would be $400 for 72 months. I walked away. Wasn't in the mood. Also i called the service office. They have saturday appointments but not if your under warrenty... A) get the internet pricing before you go. by asking for marrissa B) KNOW your sh@t. Watch your back here: typical carsalemen vultures. More
I thought they were horrible and had so many problems just to fix my AC on 94 Honda Civic. I made an appointment and brought in the car on Monday. I had to leave it there and they didn't get to work on just to fix my AC on 94 Honda Civic. I made an appointment and brought in the car on Monday. I had to leave it there and they didn't get to work on it until Tuesday. When we drove the car home on Tuesday, we realized that the AC was still not working. So I called them and brought it back on Wednesday. I waited for about 2 hours and they figured out that they needed to order a part to fix this problem. I think they should have caught this when I first brought in the car. Anyway, they told me to call back on Friday to see if the part is in and if it is, I can bring in the car and get it fixed right away on the spot. When I called on Friday, they told me that the order for the part was not yet placed and I was very angry. A few minutes later, they called back and told me that the part, in fact, was ordered and is already in the shop. However, unlike what I was told on Wednesday, I would not be able to bring in the car that day and they will not be able to fix it for me right away. I have to make another appointment! When I complained about this, they said that the person that I previously spoke with is out of the office so they cannot do anything about it. So, I made an appointment for the following Friday and will make yet another trip. I hope they will finally be able to get this done. I am really disappointed with their customer service and quality of work. They cannot be telling me one thing and not keep their words, even if they were spoken by another person in the office. They also need to be more organized. All this will cost me $550 when it's done. I don't know if that is a good price but we will be making 3 trips to this dealer for one problem and that is definitely not a good thing!!!! I don't recommend them at all and I will not go back to them again. More
