What more could you ask for? This is our 5th HONDA from this dealership. We will be back for the next new car next year..... My car is now 10 years old and has 151,000 on it. My check engine light came on and started hesitating when I stepped on the gas. I was nervous that it would be an expensive repair, however, it was simply a hose that had come loose, and it was reset for no I stepped on the gas. I didn't feel pressured to do any extra service that my car didn't need immediately. I left very pleased! More
Unfortunately, a simple passenger window problem cost me over $400. The window simply would not go up and down regularly and properly. A flaw in the car. My experience at the dealer that I purchased the Accord was inconsiderate of my Honda loyalty. I will not refer the dealer or the car to anyone. Better service could have easily maintained my loyalty. I was treated like a piece of cattle in the waiting room like all the other customers. Others were in conflict with the servicing problems they were experiencing that day also. Quality personal service is not a part of my Mike Piazza experience. In my two visits regarding the inoperable window, I asked to have my oil topped off because the car is burning off oil every 1,500 miles. An oil consumption test was done. I absolutely HATE shopping for and buying cars. I hate car salesmen, dealerships, negotiation, feeling like everyone's out to track-sell me--as in, "if we could XXX, would you be interested in buying a ca car salesmen, dealerships, negotiation, feeling like everyone's out to track-sell me--as in, "if we could XXX, would you be interested in buying a car TODAY?". This is why I was blown away (in a good way) by my recent experience at Piazza Honda. I was NOT pressured. Even though I told the appraiser about a bunch of problems with my trade, I still got a very fair value for my trade (I did the research first). I also got a car that was very reasonably priced, particularly for the low mileage. Even though Nick had helped me with the initial phone call and setting up an appointment, he wasn't there when I arrived, and David picked up where he left off. None of this "I'm not getting commission so go talk to your original salesman" crap. David was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. When he didn't know an answer, he found someone who did. In spite of the fact that I was looking for a very rare bird--a low mileage Honda under $10K, this was still the best car-buying experience of my life. (I've only bought 3 other cars, so not a TON to compare it to, but still.) Anyway, I make it a point to complain on the internet when someone treats me badly, so I wanted to take a second to rave on the internet when I'm treated well. The guys at Piazza treated me very well-- in spite of the fact that I was only buying a $10K car. I may or may not buy my next car there, but they will be the first place I shop. More
