Nick worked out of the used car sales building. The car I wanted was located at the Pottstown location. Working with Mike Piazza Honda and specifically Robert Holmes was an extremely enjoyable experience. I never once got the impression that he was trying to sell us more than we wanted or trick us into paying more than we should have. My purchase experience included three trips to the dealership, but that was more my own doing than anything else. The first trip was comparing the various cars that we were trying to decide between. Whereas the other dealerships seemed to keep us there forever with idle chit chat, Robert gave us the pertinent details and we quickly went out to view the car and on a test drive. We were not ready to discuss pricing on this first trip other than a ballpark and Robert completely understood. At other dealers, even after saying we had to leave, they tried to keep us there and get us talking about the financials. The second trip was really just a trip to see if I could fit our child car seats into the car. I showed up unannounced and Robert more than willingly brought the car around and helped me transfer the car seats. After reviewing pricing online and receiving pre-approval on a loan, I went back to discuss pricing. I called while I was on the road and 10 minutes later was there discussing pricing with Robert. I knew the number that I had to see to purchase the car, provided that to Robert, and while I had to wait a bit during discussions with management, Mike Piazza Honda beat the price I wanted to see. I also received more on my trade-in than was quoted by another dealership that somehow managed to keep me around long enough to inspect my car. What I enjoyed even more about the experience is that we didn't discuss financing until after we agreed on a price on the car. Other dealers were constantly trying to discuss the monthly price, which was not the factor I wanted to consider. I wanted the best price on the vehicle and then I was willing to put down an appropriate amount to get the monthly price to be what I desired it to be. The most important thing through this all is that I felt like I received a good deal and I didn't feel like I had to negotiate significantly to get it.
