In Aviation it's called "Hangar Rash" Took new Accord for Pa Inspection, emissions exempt. Technician performed Emissions anyway, during which the fuel door and rear quarter panel were d Took new Accord for Pa Inspection, emissions exempt. Technician performed Emissions anyway, during which the fuel door and rear quarter panel were damaged. Presented the issue to Dealer Tech writer who said, " The tech had no need to access fuel cap because car is emission exempt." The Inspection attached paperwork in fact revealed that a full emissions test was performed! However, the emissions tech was conveniently out of town for "training" and could not be reached for comment. We, the owners are now having to deal with auto body repair shops at our time and expense. A simple, inexpensive Pa Inspection became an expensive, time consuming ordeal. We will go back to our independent neighborhood Inspection Station for future service. More
