Out of Town Breakdown I had driven from Tucson Arizona to Fairplay Colorado to visit a friend. When I arrived at my friend's house in Fairplay I noticed that the radiator o I had driven from Tucson Arizona to Fairplay Colorado to visit a friend. When I arrived at my friend's house in Fairplay I noticed that the radiator overflow bottle had failed catastrophically. This is a dealer only part. All of the VW dealers are at least 90 miles away. My friend said that Colorado Springs was much easier to get to than Denver thus I picked Al Serra in Colorado Springs to call regarding the availability of the part. I spoke with Mike in the parts department inquiring about the availability of the part and explained my situation. He was extremely helpful, understanding and patient. He determined that they had one part in stock and that he would hold it for me until I got there. I told him that it would be at least 2 hours before I could get there and that I would prepay if he wanted me to. He said that would not be necessary and he would put the part aside. It ended up taking me 3 hours to get to the dealership and to the parts department. Mike was behind the counter and when I mentioned my name he immediately lit up and said he had held the part and it was all set and that he could get me on my way. He even gave me some helpful tips regarding installation. Mike spent as much time as was needed to make sure that I had everything and understood everything that I needed to repair my Jetta. I then spoke with the Parts director, Richard Frizzell, to compliment Mike. Mr. Frizzell took as much time as was needed for me to explain my story. He also gave me some tips and explanations regarding the vehicle. Overall I would rate my experience as excellent. I was out of town with a broken car and this dealership came through to get me everything I needed to repair my vehicle. The employees I dealt with were extremely courteous, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. More
