Slightly better price than the competition. We did an apples to apples comparison of the exact specs for a customer order with each Chevy dealer and got the quotes. Then we went back to them all for a s apples to apples comparison of the exact specs for a customer order with each Chevy dealer and got the quotes. Then we went back to them all for a second, best and final quote. The others all came down a little but this dealership said they couldn't come down any more and they did all they could up front. I respect that. None of the others got quite down to this price. though after learning we placed the order with Al Serra one of the others did come back (for a third time) and said they would match it and beat it by $75. We have integrity too, and though this other dealer is about a ten minute drive from our home and Al Serra over an hour, we stuck with them as we respected the way they handled the quoting (plus, of course, the good pricing). First Zabrina, then Bill, were really helpful and nice to deal with. Lastly, going through the Finance office was painless and much quicker than I was expecting. I appreciated not having any add-ons pushed on me. More
I brought my 1986 Corvette in due to what appeared to be either out of timing or spark plug mis-assignment. Several tests were run and no problem found and no charge. What other dealership would do that. either out of timing or spark plug mis-assignment. Several tests were run and no problem found and no charge. What other dealership would do that. Made an appointment for my wife's Cadillac STS and had the coolant system flushed and a fog light replaced in a timely manner. Just thought the price to replace a bulb was extensive. Otherwise, couldn't be happier with the service or Jeff Church. I did do a survey a day or two after these services, but apparently it wasn't picked up. Robert G. Pettis More
I was very pleased with Herb's patients and willingness to work with me in getting the right car for us. All 3 employees I dealt with were very friendly and professional, even in the heart of price negotiations. This is the 6th new car I've bought, and it's the first time I didn't feel like I had to take professional, even in the heart of price negotiations. Terrible customer service. I went in to compare prices with other local dealerships and I guess that is frowned upon with Al Serra? When I want to buy a TV aren't I allowed to check Wal-Mart, Target, and with other local dealerships and I guess that is frowned upon with Al Serra? When I want to buy a TV aren't I allowed to check Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy? Apparently not with these guys. Jeff Eberhart got very frustrated when I said I didn't want to buy the truck on the same day that I went to look at them. They didn't even have the truck that I wanted to buy at the dealership, how can that nut expect me to buy a truck that I haven't even sat in? Will not be buying from these guys any time soon. More
I bought my Tahoe new in 2004 from Al Serra and have always taken it back for service and maintenance needs. I have always been treated with professionalism and caring. Mark Klever is great and very k always taken it back for service and maintenance needs. I have always been treated with professionalism and caring. Mark Klever is great and very knowledgeable, Tony Dice has taken over for him as Mark got a well deserved promotion. I have had so much confidence in this dealership that I went back in 2011 and bought a new Camaro, which also goes to Al Serra for all of its needs. Their prices are not out of line with other repair facilities and they have great customer service. Always a great group of people to work with. More

I sent my wife into Al Serra with the intent of having a re-occuring check engine light solved. Prior to this I had the engine code read and found it to be a mifire. Being of a mechanic background I removed re-occuring check engine light solved. Prior to this I had the engine code read and found it to be a mifire. Being of a mechanic background I removed the old spark plugs, applied anti-seize, gapped and installed new plugs, which were AC Delco Rapid Fire, Platinum Spark Plugs. I took caution to not over tighten them and finished it off with applying Dielectric grease for a good connection. After this I had the engine code reset and the engine light came back on again so I figured it was a job for the dealership. To summarize what happened, the dealership charged my wife $413.65 to install 4 spark plugs, diagnose an Air Bag light fault which she did not want diagnosed ($120.00 of the bill) and repaired nothing to that system. They said that the reason for the fault or misfire was that the spark plugs were not Platinum (see above) and that they were not gapped properly (Not sure what feeler gage they use at a dealer....). As usual, this dealership, like many, give real repair shops a bad name, provide services that are not requested, and overcharge the customer to overcome a lack in return business. Thank you Al Serra for not only overcharging a service member in the middle of an across country move, but taking advantage of their spouse. More
Nothing can describe the service I received from Al Serra North Chevy's service department, in particular Mark and his team. They went well beyond customer service to a level that I cannot describe or have e North Chevy's service department, in particular Mark and his team. They went well beyond customer service to a level that I cannot describe or have ever had. I took a vehicle in for service on Tuesday. After three days of unsuccessful diagnosis, I picked the vehicle up only to have it completely shut down 30 mins. later. After getting it running, I ran it back to the service department. They took down the additional information and got it fixed the next day. There was never any charge that was out of place, the price for five days worth of their service was so minuscule that I felt bad, and I know they lost money. Their only concern was fixing my problem with the utmost professionalism. They have earned a lifetime of my business and I will never considered another shop. After the quality of care I received, I know that Al Serra North will be my first stop when it comes time to replace the offending vehicle. I would place serious doubt on the sales department operating in any other fashion than the service department. Thanks guys! More
