The service department is an absolute joke! Had my car towed there for an engine replacement (under warranty) in late January and first was told that they have no loaner cars available and I wo Had my car towed there for an engine replacement (under warranty) in late January and first was told that they have no loaner cars available and I would be put on a “list” to receive one. Fine , no problem. They had my car for a month and a half and that “loaner car” never became available. I called the service department several times and left a voicemail to return my call (which NEVER happened). I did get to speak to the so called service manager who assured me that she would return my call by the end of the business day (which of course NEVER happened). I finally got my car back in march and submitted all of my receipts from the rental cars that I had to get for 2 months and was told that they would submit them and I should receive a refund in a week or two. I called the Kia warranty company and they said that they can’t see any proof of receipts being submitted and the lady from the warranty company called them directly and left a message and of course, her call was never returned either. Now going on 2 months, I called the warranty company again today and lo and behold, still no submission of receipts so I’m going to submit them myself. The dealership itself is fine but the service department is a total joke and lacks any type of customer care. In my opinion, FIRE everybody on the customer support team (especially the manager) and for service, go somewhere , ANYWHERE else. More
i’m embarrassed to even write this review that I have fell for the tactics that we used against me in the purchasing of a vehicle. When I came back to close on the vehicle they told me there was a problem with my credit that they could not do the agreed upon contract stating they guess at my credit score when agreeing to terms that I put a deposit down on. First of all I ran my own credit both I went and told them exactly what it was. secondly, I have an app that lets me know when my credit has been ran and who ran it. It showthat they ran it through several financial financial companies that day before I put the deposit out as well as having me sign a documents, stating it was OK for them to run my credit. I stated these facts to to the financial manager in which he told me it’s no big deal if you don’t want the vehicle anymore. if I was smart, I would’ve taken that opportunity to leave leave and dealt with a different dealership that doesn’t employ these kind of tactics. Instead I sit there and listen to him explain to me that it’s not his fault he’s just the guy trying to make it right by me and if he could try to work a deal for me still. at this point, I’m feeling a little desperate as I took a lot of heat from my spouse about my decision to even look at vehicles and finally was able to get the okay to purchase the vehicle for the price and term that agreed to prior to this episode. so I already took the whole day off from work had the insurance lined up? They already wasted a couple hours of my time with paperwork and an idle chitcha and cleaning out my old vehicle items and placing them in my new vehicle . All before hitting me with the news of a problem. They must’ve been able to smell the desperation off me as I was in need of a car as my old one was not as reliable and big enough for my growing family. I did my research on the vehicle knew that it was a decent price on the first deal that I agreed to and put a deposit on and everything add up. So why in the world would I fall for this next move still has me baffled and confused. The financial manager comes back and explains to me that He did a me a huge favor and found another financial company that was willing to give me the monthly payment I was looking for for a little more time, and I bit hook line and sinker. So essentially just gave them another year worth of payments out of panic. roughly almost 8000 more dollars than I intended to pay for a vehicle. I thought I did my research and my due diligence and knew what I was getting into. After getting home and my nerves settling down and the feeling of just being grateful that I had a vehicle I thought about it and started doing research as my brain started to clear from panic. I went directly to one of the financial institutes gave them my information told him the vehicle amount the year, the miles and would you believe it they gave me the monthly payment in the year terms that I originally agreed to. At this point, I’ve done my research in Pennsylvania the sale is final as soon as you sign the contract so I have no recourse. Now it’s time to come clean to my spouse on how I epically failed my family. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this dealership like the plague or a least have your own financing in place and know that no agreement between the salesperson and you means anything even if you signed and placed a deposit More
I called for an oil change/inspection Lon July 5. They gave me an appointment for July 31. The car failed because of a rear brake. They wanted over $1000.00 to fix it. Called about a car they had for sale listed on auto trader. I confirmed that the car was still there, with no deposit and no one looking at it.
