Brought my new Toyota in for scheduled interval service, and ok'd the alternator belt replacement they recommended. They put the belt in wrong, it failed and their service department wasn't concerned at all. Just told me to bring the car in when convenient for them. I did and they got it wrong again. I was not allowed to speak to Mike Johnson ("He always calls customers back" really works well when they won't let you spake to him or leave a voice message), so after trying to get some resolution from Toyota regional and national, took the car to an Asheville dealer who got this simple parts installation right the first time and for less money. My credit card company, American Express, who has backed out small charges for large companies and large charges for small companies without argument, balked at backing out a large charge for a large company ("The dealers are our customers too" they whined) and stuck me with the bill. So I've paid twice and taken the car in three times to have one simple alternator belt installation done right. Thanks, Mike Johnson! More
