I have never felt pressured at Mike Castrucci, unlike my experience at other dealerships in Cincinnati. We purchased our 2008 awd Express 'new' at Castrucci's and had a good experience. WE also had over half of the service work performed there and found the service dept to be most competent. Our 2008 awd Express had 140,000 miles and was showing some wear. We wanted a new 2012 awd Chevy Express passenger van and naturally returned to Castrucci. The sales manager was the same, Richard Wilber. It was good to see him as he is always interested in making a good deal, and is never over-bearing. Mr Wilber referred us to Shaun Barrow. Shaun is the van specialist and is very knowledgeable ! There was a 2012 Express on the lot that we liked. It was so similar to what we were driving that we were reluctant to purchase. Shaun said : 'What is holding you back ?" We replied that we would have liked leather front seats and maybe some wood trim on the dash. Shaun said "No problem, i will get all of that done plus a few other extra from the Explorer van company !" And he did it at a great price ! So the deal was signed. Within a couple weeks Shaun had made good on his promise and we took delivery of our semi-customized van ! Thanks Shaun , Shaun, and Mr Wilber ! Being a woman and dealing with another dealership up the road on a car ... I experienced a disrespect like I have never experienced before in shopping for a car. I went to Mike Castrucci's Chevrolet dealership under the advisement of my ex-husband who told me that the experience would be so much different than at the last dealership I had went to the night before. I will say Castrucci Chevrolet was the best car buying experience I ever expereinced in my lifetime at 71 years of age. The feeling of being respected and not being taken advantaged of because of my gender or my age was a big plus for me in my decision to buying a car. Kevin worked with me as I told him what I needed in price wise to make a month payment within my ability financially.
