Worst service center in town Ok. I don't know where to start. Last week I took my car to service and to take care of a recall (Deformed fuel tank) and to replace the battery ter Ok. I don't know where to start. Last week I took my car to service and to take care of a recall (Deformed fuel tank) and to replace the battery terminals that were broken. TheMidway Ford lady was very nice, Good customer service (so I thought). Later the Midway Ford lady called me back telling me that the repair would cost around 1500$. According to Midway Ford, the battery had to be replaced and the terminals were ok (it was the opposite). Midway Ford also said that there was a problem with the fuel pressure sensor and a fan. The fuel tank in recall was fine according to them. I declined their repair offer because the battery was in a warranty. So I took my car to Tires Plus (battery warranty). There they checked the car, the battery was good (they replaced the terminals that were not good) The fuel pressure sensor was good, the problem was in the tank. The recall Midway Ford was supposed to take care of and did not (Midway Ford stated they had taken care of the recall when I picked up the car) The car got out of Midway Ford leaking gasoline. Now I have to pay 800 $ in tires plus to fix the thing you had to replace on the recall. You were going to charge me 1500 $ to supposedly fix something that did not need fixing. Were you trying to pin the recall costs on me? I am going to have an investigation open on this. Be sure that I will never do business with you again Midway Ford. More
They did not give me a fair price I was sold a new car that had transmission problems and they have not taken care of fixing it. Their customer service sucks. Incompetent service departemnt I had Terrible experience with Midway Ford’s service department today, first I called this morning and no one answered the phone after 8:30 am so I de I had Terrible experience with Midway Ford’s service department today, first I called this morning and no one answered the phone after 8:30 am so I decided to show up. Mr. Michael Martin asked if he could help and took my information and told me that my F-150 had to be inspected by some specialty mechanics who were very busy. My truck was making a noise between the transmission and the rear-end. When I went to pick the vehicle up he stated that they thought the noise was coming from the shaft and that they suggested to replace it and had to be ordered at a cost of around $1300 and that it would take a few days to order it because it had to be fabricated. This was not his final diagnosis, he said they noise could also be coming from somewhere else (none of this was ever written on the invoice). On the invoice there is no diagnostic, mechanics notes or estimates only my original noise complain and Mike’s opinion, and of course a labor charge of $117.87 for the diagnostic. I took my truck to a Ford Dealer thinking that they would be professionals and accurate with their diagnostic, not to verbally tell me that they recommend to replace a part they are not sure is the one causing the problem, for that I could gone to a less expensive mechanic to get the same incompetent diagnostic. If you are reading this, stay away from this place!!!! More
