My Escape has been at Midway Ford in and out since May 2022 for a backup camera failure. The part was requested in June 2022, and as of today March 28, 2023, there is no replacement backup camera for my F 2022 for a backup camera failure. The part was requested in June 2022, and as of today March 28, 2023, there is no replacement backup camera for my Ford Escape. Very disappointed. How much longer do I have to wait? More

I feel I got a good deal. However, I felt I had to work hard and stand my ground to get it. Partly because my sales person was new and didn’t really have experience to know. Had to return to the dealer 3 times before I was able to take the vehicle. I had to travel close to an hour each trip. Apparently I had to have insurance coverage on the new vehicle prior to leaving with it. It would have saved me a trip if that had been explained to me prior to picking up my vehicle. Again, just inexperience of my sales person. Then I met with their person who deals with this insurance transfer. He tried to push insurance coverages on me. I was there to purchase a vehicle, not shop for insurance coverage. I must admit the finance department was helpful. Even though I chose financing elsewhere. Upon signing all the papers, I was transferring items from my trade in to the new vehicle I noticed a tear in the passenger seat. I made a request, I kind of knew was going to be rejected. However, after speaking with the sales manager Renato Wong, I wondered how someone can be so rude to the customers. I was told by him “ that I was probably not happy with anything and I was probably going to give a bad review so if I’m not happy with the deal and sales person they will be happy to take the vehicle back and that we were losing money on this deal anyway”. All with a very condescending and annoyed tone. I exclaimed that I was very happy with the deal and sales person, however, I was not happy with him and his attitude. He definitely needs to go through some customer service training. My hope in all this is to expose my dissatisfaction with the Renato Wong. Very unprofessional. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the deal, the sales person Jesus, and the finance department. More
