Horrible service My experience went from bad to a full blown nightmare. I took my car for service at during the last week of June. I had heard some squeaking from the tires, thought it could be a bad bearing. Didn't think it was the brake pads since i didn't have high miles and I don't ride my brakes. After an "inspection" they called me and told it was the front brake pads. I gave them authorization to work on my car. I went to pick it up and drove it to work when I noticed that the issue wasn't fixed. I called the dodge hotline number to explore my options incase midway dodge tried to give me the run about. I took it back to get it properly repaired. Midway dodge called me and told me that the REAR caliper was closing at an angle so my pads got worn out at an angle. I asked how much it was going to cost me and to my surprise they were quoting the inspection fee again. I asked that the advisor speak to the manager to this waived since I was paying for pads and rotors again because the "technician" failed to do a proper inspection. I was told there was nothing they could do. I had to cut my plans short and drive there. I demanded to know why I was being charged twice because of incompetence on their end. I also told the service manager that I wasn't convinced that the initial work was even needed. They agreed to waive it. I went to pick up my car the next day and the porter dropped it off up front. I immediately noticed damage to the rear passenger panel. I went to speak to the cashier so I could speak to the manager. She called over the phone and I heard her ask for "Dave" which she informed me that he was the general manager. I waited for a total of 45 minutes, and between that time I had asked the cashier why was it taking so long. She told me that he was in a different lot. I had noticed a gentleman that was treated differently from the employees while I waited so I approached him and asked if he was Dave the gm, which he replied that he was. I told him my issue and walked me outside to see me car. He said, "there's nothing we can do, we just can't pop that dent out, but I will take your information and see what we can do" I gave him my info, and I called Dodge hotline to inform them what had happened. Midway wasn't called me and neither has Dodge. I'm willing to sell BOTH Chrysler made vehicles so I will never have to deal with such pathetic service. More

Great Customer Service I went car shopping with my brother while I was visiting for the 4th and the level of customer service we received was a 10. I decided to have my oil changed before hitting the highway and I chose to take it here because of the kind workers. I highly recommend this place for oil changes and car shopping. More

Coming in, there were plenty of specialist ready to assist me with my Dodge Avenger. They helped me with all of my questions and then helped me with coming into the certified car service, right on site. My car received quality repair service in no time. I got my oil changed, battery replaced, and my brakes inspected, all in one trip. In a few months my husband and I are looking to buy another car, and I already know, without a doubt, that this is the car dealership we will come to. More
These guys took care of me. I was visiting friends in Chicago and, what do you know, car breaks down. I needed a specialized engine part that I couldn't get from just any shop, and Midway Dodge was the c Chicago and, what do you know, car breaks down. In and out in no time flat, and it was actually less than it would have been if Midas had been able to do it. I know dealers have a rep for being more expensive than the shop, but not here. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area. More

I dropped off my car on Wednesday and I called on Thursday to see the status of the car. I spoke to Santiago and I asked him "Please tell me what is wrong with the car and no "recommended" repairs. He said, "The brake shift light switch needs to be replaced". Then Santiago says, "Can you have your husband call me because I feel more comfortable talking to a man" . I was shocked! I told him that I own the car and that I would be paying for the repair and that my husband isn't a mechanic. I will be reporting them to the BBB and Chrysler Group next. RIP OFF - COST: They quoted me 282 dollars! Actual cost to replace this with parts and labor should be around 60 dollars. This place will rip you off! Forget about taking your car here for a recall because they will LEFT MY CAR IN PIECES: After I called Santiago on Thursday around noon, I told him that I will not be doing the repair there and that I will be picking up my car after 6PM. I pick up my car and the middle console with the gear shifter is in PIECES with screws left sitting on the seat. Of course, the service department is gone for the day and no one had a clue. I already had called a tow truck to take my car to my place and I didn't want to wait another day. Vandalize my car: I didn't buy my car at Midway Dodge but yesterday they took it upon themselves to add the license plate holder both front and back to my car. They couldn't put the console/gear shifter back together but they were fine with putting their crappy logo on my car. More
I took my 2002 Dodge Caravan in because I had recently had my Transmission rebuilt and it was still not shifting gears and the speedometer was not working correctly. I decided to take it to Midway Dodge s had my Transmission rebuilt and it was still not shifting gears and the speedometer was not working correctly. I decided to take it to Midway Dodge since they have experience with these types of vehicles. They wanted to charged me $654 to tear down the transmission because they said it was an internal problem. I said no but they still charged me $115. I took it to another mechanic and they told me that the oxygen wires were crossed and that was the problem they only charged me $45. I called Midway Dodge asking for my money back and they refused too but they give me a horrible diagnostic.If i would have said yes to tear down the transmission they would have charged me a lot of money and it wasn't even the problem. Do not bring your vehicle here they will tell you its a bigger problem then it really is and charge you much more! More
