My experience at this dealership was absolutely terrible. The level of incompetence was off the charts. Do NOT take your vehicle to Midway Chevy for oil change or service! Recently had my Chevy Colorado in for its very first oil change. Made an appointment for 11am on a Wednesday, had the day so thought or service! Recently had my Chevy Colorado in for its very first oil change. Made an appointment for 11am on a Wednesday, had the day so thought I would just wait at the dealer for it to be completed. FIVE hours later… for an oil change! Not a sorry, not an update, not a would like a loaner vehicle to run errands it’s gonna be awhile! Just a “Yup, we’re busy.” It gets better though! After waiting five hours and battling 4o’clock rush hour back home on the ten. I park my Colorado only to smell oil burning, I look under, I find oil dripping from my drain plug. This is not a small drip, but a steady drip drip drip. Call Midway Chevy, they state it’s probably needing torqued more and will send a mobile service tech to my house to tighten and refill the oil. Tech arrives takes one look an says “Nope, that drain bolt is cross threaded it’s gonna need to be towed in and oil pan replaced. I’ll let the shop know and they will call you.” I received no call that evening from Midway Chevy. Called them when the service department opened next morning. Claimed they were never told of it couldn’t be fixed by the mobile service tech. Tow should be out today. I ask about a rental vehicle as I need to return to work. We need to see what the damage on the vehicle is first before we can approve a rental vehicle, we will call you. I let you guess… they didn’t call. Tried to speak to the service advisor, left multiple voicemails, NOTHING! Finally get a return call the following day. It’s gonna take a week to get the parts in and we were able to get a rental car. The fiasco of Enterprise not having vehicles, stating it must be a GM vehicle for Midway to cover(Midway said not true), and all around circus of obtaining the rental I won’t put on Midway. However it was par for the course in this web of incompetence. TLDR? Do yourself a favor. Take your vehicle to ANY other dealership for service. Jiffy Lube ain’t got nothing on Midway Chevy when it comes to breaking your vehicle! More
I have bought 2 vehicles here. Never again! I brought my Traverse in for simple battery trouble, routine oil change and a noise at low speeds. Next thing I know the transmission an Never again! Next thing I know the transmission and motor mounts are shot plus other things to the number of $9000 to repair and Hugh recommended trading in. Offered $500 for trade with a $9000 down payment, only to double my current payment at high interest. When we mentioned we had a warranty, the repair costs went up to $14,000 and parts were unavailable. Took car to a reputable mechanic; transmission is fine, just needs a torque converter and minor repairs for $2500 that the warranty will cover a big chunk. More

I took it to my mechanic, and his scanner could not diagnose. He recommended me to go to a dealer who has more updated equipment for a Chevy. It dragged out for two weeks, and finally got a crappy diagnosis at best. It said I needed a starter (not the issue. My mechanic did not believe it was the starter), my water pump replaced,, the linkage to my steering wheel, etc. for $3490. I demanded my $215 back for diagnosis fee, since my mechanic said it was not the starter. This was either a fraudulent diagnosis, or grossly incompetent mechanic. Never return my calls and lied to me on a couple occasions saying the money was on its way. Never use these guys! More

Only recently I purchased a used vehicle only to have multiple issues with it. It has been in service for longer than I have owed the vehicle. Now it is currently in service I get no calls no updates. I leave messages no returns. They did mention they only have one mechanic and short staffed so I have to suffer paying for a vehicle I don't even have. I went two weeks with no vehicle before they finally provided a rental. I have rental for a week with still no updates. Horrible horrible experience. More
All staff gave customer service and great satisfactory. Looked into the computer problem and had me back on the road sooner than I anticipated. We had the worst communication and customer service. Would leave messages and never had any returned. After having our vehicle for 20 days we finally just went down (since no one would answer) to get it. Once we showed up our service person along with 4 other employees were just standing there talking in a circle, not doing anything. We got many excuses but no apologies. One thing that was worked on was our window (being able to roll up and down). It worked for only a day, and then stopped working! Will never use them again. More

The service center doesn't answer, and they don't return calls after you leave a message. I've called several times and left several messages. I even talked to the Sales Manager. He told me that the GM would call me within 10 minutes. I never received a call from the GM. Now, I need to pay nearly $300 to have my car towed back to my house in Mesa. MIDWAY CHEVROLET service is HORRIBLE. I highly recommend that you NEVER CONSIDER MIDWAY CHEVROLET for any service needs. More
