That was 4 days ago and have not heard anything. VERY POOR customer Service. I am driving around with a potentially fatal recall problem and Midway does not care. I keep getting letters from Chevy to fix my car, but how can I when my dealership is so lacking. More
Service Department Fail I called the Dealer and spoke to a service adviser last week. I needed a mechanic that was certified to work on the Chevy Volt. I was "told" that th I called the Dealer and spoke to a service adviser last week. I needed a mechanic that was certified to work on the Chevy Volt. I was "told" that they had two certified Volt techs and I was on the schedule for Saturday with one of them at 9am. Sooo, Saturday at 8:50 I pulled into the Service Bay. Greeting was friendly enough. The SA took my info, looked up the VIN and then went to his computer. Guess what? No Volt tech working today. No solutions offered. I left and called the Dealership from my car to speak to the GM or Service Manager. Left a message. No call back on Saturday. No call back on Monday. Tuesday morning I call back. I get to leave another message now it is 2 in the afternoon and guess what? NO CALL. I am sure that this is not the experience that Warren Buffett thought he was signing up for when he purchased Van Tuyl! More

I recently needed to have the air conditioning repaired as well as the CD player replaced in my Tahoe and I chose to have Midway Chevrolet do the work. They've done work for me in the past. Andrew Clelan as well as the CD player replaced in my Tahoe and I chose to have Midway Chevrolet do the work. They've done work for me in the past. Andrew Cleland was my service adviser this time. I had the air conditioning fixed one day and then the CD player work done another day. Each time I left my vehicle over night so I had Midway's shuttle service take me home, then return me to the dealership the next day. My air conditioning is cooling now like it should.....just in time for our summer warm-up and my CD player works like new. Of course it should since it is new. It hadn't worked for so long I'd forgotten how nice it was to have a CD player. Andrew was friendly, polite and good to work with. He followed through with phone calls and e-mails just as he said that he would. I don't know what all had to be done to repair the air conditioning or CD player but things work again like they should so the technicians must have done a good job. I'd also like to say that the shuttle drivers were polite, punctual and careful. It would have been difficult if Midway didn't have their shuttle service. All and all I have been pleased with the service performed by Midway Chevrolet. All of the people whom I have had contact with have been professional and if I need any further service work done I will give Midway a call. More
When I purchased my Buick, it was not new. I immediately brought it to Midway to have a check-up. I have continued bringing it to Midway ever since. When I recently had an accident, my first thought on repa brought it to Midway to have a check-up. I have continued bringing it to Midway ever since. When I recently had an accident, my first thought on repairs was Midway. They have been excellent in keeping my car running well. When I called the Collision Center, they set me up with an immediate appointment to estimate the damage. When I needed to wait a bit (the accident was just before Christmas) before bringing the car in for the repair, they didn't even hesitate. My car was at the Collision Center for 2 weeks, and came back to me looking beautiful. In addition, Roz (my service rep) gave me a quote on some minor non-collision damage I wanted to have repaired. She even told me if I gave her a couple days warning, to have the parts ordered, she could have it repaired while I waited, sparing me having to obtain a rental car. Now that's what I call service. They did an excellent job, and I would recommend them to anyone! More
I brought my 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche in to get it looked at; I purchased it at Freeway Chevrolet and usually did all of my vehicle services at that particular dealer. Due to the fact that I moved to Carefre at; I purchased it at Freeway Chevrolet and usually did all of my vehicle services at that particular dealer. Due to the fact that I moved to Carefree AZ area, I was not able to drive that far for vehicle service and was referred to Midway Chevrolet because I was informed they provided excellent service like the last dealer I use to go to. I met Sam, he greeted me and I told him I was due to go out of town soon on assignment and wanted my vehicle looked at because the alternator went out. Considering the vehicle was brand new, Sam did research and found the vehicle was under warranty. Although you have to always be prepared to pay for some repairs; I was at least glad the service was under warranty so I thank Midway's service department for really doing their job with honesty, integrity, and loyalty. I am a female who knows nothing about cars; repairs, specs etc. So considering the efficiency of the service team, I was impressed. I do appreciate the fact that I was able to have my vehicle serviced and will always come back to Midway for service soon....in fact I am coming back Monday for other issues/repairs and will be working with John this time. Thank you Sam and Midway for your service. More
