Extremely disappointed I brought my Kia in for a recall on the door latches and was told it would take about an hour. Two and a half hours later I was given my car back with I brought my Kia in for a recall on the door latches and was told it would take about an hour. Two and a half hours later I was given my car back with broken trim around my gear shifter, grease and hand prints on my windows and an air leak on the passenger side window. I called right away to see if I could bring it back to at least get the wind noise corrected. I was told to bring it back on Monday. So I make yet another 70 mile trip there and back only to be told that there was nothing they could do to repair it and that I needed to purchase new weather seal and trim and that it wasn’t part of the repair they made. I left there and took it to a body shop and asked what they would need to do to replace the latches. The first step mentioned was pulling the window and regulator. After explaining my issue they removed the door panel and adjusted the window regulator and stopped the leak in about 15 minutes. My New Kia Experince Since I 've had this new vehicle I 've been ran around quite a bit which I didn't appreciate. But the Dealership did make things right. Friendly service people. We just bought our 2019 Optima and wanted remote start put on. Service called us when part came in and we dropped car off next day. Later that day service department called us stating they had ordered wrong remote start and would overnight correct 1. The next day which was a Friday, service department called and stated the truck delivering the part broke down and it should be there next day. At this time they gave us a loaner. Saturday part finally came in but tech working on car was off. Monday didnt hear anything so called and they had finished the remote start but had not done detail they said they would do for us. Tuesday late afternoon they called stating it was ready, but I had already left town for the day so informed them that it would be next day Wednesday before I could get over there to pick it up. My problem was not that I had to wait a week to have what I was told would be a few hrs to get my car back but more that when I bought the car nobody went over with me all the features and how they work and now I paid extra for the remote start and I was told it wouldnt be a separate remote and nobody went over with me how the remote start works. More
