30 Crazy Days of Dealer Buttfumbles On December 27th, I dropped my car off for a repair to the already diagnosed lower oil pan gasket. I got a loaner, a completely base Jetta S(in which someone had soiled every seat) for my 2018 Golf GTI SE. On December 28th, I was informed that it was not the lower oil pan, but the upper oil pan, and that would be a few days. After about a week of no contact, I had to call them to get info. Finally, they tell me that now the rear main is leaking. After several attempts, January 9th rolls around, I get the call that my car is finished. It takes me 20 miles to realize it's not finished. I return the car because of a clunk(still not fixed, I believe the steering rack is failing) and it's leaking oil, where it was just seeping before. ON TOP OF THIS, they "detailed" (belt sanded) my car before I picked it up, leaving scratches EVERYWHERE. They upgraded the loaner to a new Tiguan, which was much less of an insult. After a couple of weeks, the dealer gives up(I had already requested a buyback), and calls in VW. VW arrives, determines that the tool to install the rear main is broken. Car is repaired (paint still in limbo), I get the call to pick it up on January 29th. 25 of the days I waited, was because this sorry excuse for a service department couldn't be bothered to check their tools before a major installation. And I'm still not done dealing with them. More
Go to any other dealership outside of this group My background is over a decade in working at dealerships and currently working as an operations analyst at a dealer. This dealer will bait you in My background is over a decade in working at dealerships and currently working as an operations analyst at a dealer. This dealer will bait you in with a nearly seamless sales department, however, this is just a setting of a trap. The kindness and warmth experienced in the brief time with the sales team is gone the moment you sign and you are thrown into a world in which the parts and service team lacks any concern for the customer. The parts department does not respond to inquiries and the parts desk is unattended for extremely long periods. This is inconvenient and annoying, but pales in comparison to the disaster that is the service department. Nothing is done quickly and a simple 10k service took nearly 4 hours to complete. I contacted VW corporate following a service visit here a few months ago after a headlight had to be replaced because the speed and accuracy of the service team was terrible and the customer service is the worst I've ever seen at any dealership. I was told that VW could not do much because the location is independently owned (by Mason Automotive Group). I had my 20k service completed on a Thursday and had an engine failure 2 days later. They had the car for a week while their service team and management ignore my calls and messages. The dealer takes no responsibility for the failure and denied warranty. I was charged for their poor attempt at diagnostics and when I talked to a senior management member, their operations director, the true nature of this dealer group became clear. In 10 years of working with dealerships, never have I witnessed such spitefulness and aggression towards a customer. When asking who his superior was, he claimed that he was the god of the organization and that he does not report to anyone. Based on his actions and conduct, it is now very clear why the rest of the staff feels that it is ok to treat customers with total disregard. More

Sold my son a lemon!!! My son purchased a 2010 VW CC from this around Feb 2017 for $7,200 with about 135k miles. While the car didn’t come with a warranty we were told the car was in pretty good condition by the sales rep and service dept and it drove smoothly when we tested it. My had the car less than a month and it started leaking oil. We returned to the dealership and they fixed the intake manifold. Cost around $1,700 I think I remember that correctly. Then after having it another 6 weeks the clutch went out. Another $1,400, but this time we paid. They had the nerve to say my son drove the car hard. But he used to drive a 97 Mazda B2300 manual and we never had a problem and it’s still on the road. By the time he had the car 7 months, the engine needed to be placed because when the manifold was fixed something was not tightened properly according to my mechanic and the valves were burnt out. The engine was basically done!!! So now it has cost and will cost as much to fix the car as we paid for the car. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!! More

Second service sucks I took my VW Routan there for a shake while driving they proceed to tell me it was the ignition coil and plugs, then tell me it wasn't under warranty that's great so I say fix it($750.00) a couple days later they call me and say the parts are on it but that didn't work now the valve in motor is bent and head has to be took off(a warranty issue) so I decide I want to trade it in on a newer model Vw Routan with half the miles. I go to trade in and they say I still owe the $750.00 on the old van that I'm trading in which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. In all honesty the should have fixed it and not charged me anything since it was not fixed. I wasn't born last night I'm glad I'm not an older person and was gullible to their thievery. This service center is a bunch of scam artist I just wonder how many people they have screwed over in the years past. I will drive 30 miles to the next VW dealership to get service next time. More
