I purchased my Tiguan at Compass a few years ago after shopping around other dealers and brands because of their commitment to customers and the community. They valued my time, but they also valued the safety of my car - which is really important. I drove away with peace of mind and respect for the team at Compass! More

Compass never stops trying to bilk money out of you. I normally would NEVER bring my car to this dealership for service, but I needed to bring it in for a recall issue and I had a headlight out, so I figu normally would NEVER bring my car to this dealership for service, but I needed to bring it in for a recall issue and I had a headlight out, so I figured they could replace the bulb while it was in for the recall. When I dropped it off the owner came outside with me to look at the car, so that he could try to sell me additional services. He tried to sell me a tire rotation, but I declined. He quoted me $35 to replace the bulb, however, before the service was complete, he called to tell me it might not just be the bulb, it could be another part also, and he recommended replacing both. So basically he suggested replacing the bulb and another part without even checking to see if there was anything wrong with the other part or if it only needed a bulb. He quoted $175 for the bulb alone. I had previously gotten a quote for $90 on that bulb elsewhere, so that's quite a mark up!!! I said not to touch the bulb. When I picked up the car there was a note on the receipt with a $463 estimate to REPLACE A BULB! This is obscene!!! The worst part of it is that they guy did it with a big smile on his face. They act like they are your friend while they pick your pocket. (I ended up buying a bulb for $100 and it took 5 mins for my father to install it.) On another occasion, my father had purchased 4 parts and returned 3 parts the next day. He was charged a 20% restocking fee (which came to $60). They walked to the shelf, took the parts off, then walked back to the shelf and returned the parts... and my father was charged $60 for this service. They should be ashamed, but they are not. Their objective seems to be to take you for all they can. Stay away from Compass and if you are forced to go there, do NOT let them sell you services/parts that you DO NOT NEED! More

I was handled in an efficent, courteous manner by Vanessa McNally and kept informed about the status of repairs to be performed. brought the car in. My sons 06 Jetta GLI had a falling interior headliner where the fabric started pulling away from the inside roof. In looking to get it repaired I went back to the dealer who sold us the Certified Used Ca where the fabric started pulling away from the inside roof. In looking to get it repaired I went back to the dealer who sold us the Certified Used Car, Compass Volkswagen, only expecting a referral to a repair shop and fully expecting to pay for the repair since the car was technically out of the new car warranty period. Their service department took what was considered to be an out of warranty repair and along with Volkswagen of America honored the warranty and replaced the headliner at no charge. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. But even if they had not covered the cost, the Compass staff took it upon themselves to pursue that option on my behalf and went out of their way to contact the right people at Volkswagen, ordered the replacement parts necessary, got me the service appointment that was convenient to me and followed up to make sure everything was okay. My experience left me with a lasting impression that a lot of companies today seem to take for granted. It felt personal and the entire Compass team seemed genuinely sincere in their effort to make sure I was taken care of. Others should see this approach as the standard. Thank you Compass More
My experience was so good that I emailed the dealership in regards to Mr. Hackett, and how please I was with his performance. He took care of me and went the extra mile. Because there are no Audi dealers i in regards to Mr. Hackett, and how please I was with his performance. He took care of me and went the extra mile. Because there are no Audi dealers in this area I took my Audi to Compass. They were great to deal with and fixed my car. Some Audi's are notorious for problems and mine had it's share. Thanks! More
i have a beloved 7 yr old VW GTI. the problem required a dealer visit, something i was pretty unhappy about. to my surprise, from the moment they answered the phone, the folks at compass motors turned me ar dealer visit, something i was pretty unhappy about. to my surprise, from the moment they answered the phone, the folks at compass motors turned me around completely. they made renting a car during the repair work easy as pie and chris in service took an interest in my car and problem. they followed up competently, quickly and efficiently. everything was repaired on time and they even washed my car. nice touch. i'm coming back even though they are 25 miles from my house. More
