Based on our three transactions with Middletown we can say the service is timely, thorough and courteous. All the employees are friendly and helpful. We always feel relaxed and enjoy the inviting atmosphere. (coffee/tv). Rob Mayne always tries his best to compromise on price and get us the car and extras that we want. We expect to continue our string of leases at Middletown well into the future. I would not hesitate recommending this dealership to anyone. More

From start to finish, our car buying experience was very pleasant, due mostly to our sales person, Dale Richards. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like a priority even though we were o pleasant, due mostly to our sales person, Dale Richards. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like a priority even though we were only buying a used car. Dale was very easy to work with on price negotiation and made the process a no-pressure situation (which is rare). He was also very easy to get a hold of throughout the whole process (he even gave his personal cell number so we could reach him any time). There were a few outstanding issues with the car prior to delivery, and Dale went the extra mile to make sure everything was squared away upon delivery. Even after taking delivery of the car, we noticed the rear wiper blade was worn and ineffective. So, Dale scheduled an appointment for us to come back and have the wiper blade replaced at no cost (even though this was not an item we listed in the "We Owe" form). Angel was our finance point person, and although he was able to find attractive financing rates, he was somewhat pushy about selling the extended warranty (which we told him from the onset that we had absolutely no intention of buying). I had to say no several times, and he did not want to take no for an answer. That was the only unpleasant part of our car-buying experience at Middletown Nissan. As far as the service department goes, the pre-delivery detailing of the car left something to be desired, and they were unable to completely fix a squeak made by the steering wheel during turns. All other service performed was good. In summary, Dale Richards is one of the best sales people I have ever dealt with. I normally dread walking into a car dealership for fear of being hassled/pressured, but Dale quickly abated those fears and was able to turn the process into a pleasant experience and get us a great deal. I would definitely recommend Middletown Nissan. More
Start to finish, we were treated great. Our salesman Bobby Hahn, was clear and accurate with any details regarding our acquisition. He knew we were looking for a bottom line figure with our new vehicle... less trade-in. We left with a bottom line figure to work with. He knew we were deciding between RAV4 and Rouge. He also knew we were going to check out the RAV4 afterward. He understood that fact, and left a door of opportunity open for us. He didn't try to pursued us to "sign now" or lose the deal, "so to speak". No pressure tactics whatsoever. No guilt, no gimmicks... Bobby was "A-1 tops". We went on down the road to check out the RAV4. The RAV salesmen gave us a very good price, but a very bad experience. Arrogant and disinterested to the point where we felt he didn't even want/need our business. We ended up getting a RAV but at Wallingford Toyota not Middletown Toyota... And with the door left open back at Middletown Nissan, we also went back for the Rouge. If it weren't for me not knowing how dependable the Rouge will, or will not be "down the road", we might have bought two Rouges!!! I love the dependability I've experienced with Toyota. But we were THAT happy with the staff at Middletown Nissan so we also went with a Rouge. Plus dollar for dollar, the Rouge has far more options than the RAV4 does. Maybe Nissan's Rouge (and specifically Middletown) will win over this Toyota "lifer" in me. Shari Morris, and Joe DeAngelo were also great to work with. Joe, like Bobby, was no gimmicks, no pressure, clear and concise with all the paperwork. When we finally got our chance to go car shopping after we canceled baseball practice Saturday, I would have never thought we would end up trading in for two new cars by Monday night! In the end, they did "what it takes", to get the sale complete before the march incentives expired. They left us feeling that they truly appreciate us and our business. More

Recently my 2004 Nissan took its last breath and I had no option but to purchase a new car. Knowing I wanted another Nissan, the only question was where would I go to make the purchase. A friend had mentioned that they had recently purchased a car at Middletown Nissan and they were very satisfied with the experience that they had at the dealership. My past experiences with other dealerships left much to be desired and very frankly even with what I was told by my friends, I didn't have high expectations of what I would encounter. From the time I walked through the door, I realized that things were going to be different at Middletown Nissan. To begin with I was not "rushed" by multiple sales personnel looking to tell me what they could do for me. Rather, what I experienced was the ability to look at the floor models, the information on the variuos models, etc. When I was ready there were salesmen available to answer what questions I might have. Dale Richards was the Salesman that I worked with in purchasing my new car. From the beginning, Dale answered every question and explained everything that I needed to know about the car I wanted to buy. There was never any pressure to but one car over another. In learning that most (maybe all) of the Salesmen/saleswomen have been with the dealership for a considerable length of time was also very surprising to me. Most people, I would assume, beleive that there is a significant turnover in the sales force at car dealerships. Yet another surprise! As I said to Dale, that fact speaks very highly of the owners of Middletown Nissan. To be perfectly honest, before I walked into Middletown Nissan, I had planned to "make the tour" of other dealerships to see if I could get a better deal. By the time I was done talking to Dale, I was sure that I was getting the best deal in purchasing a new car, but there was also a level of comfort in the integrity of the people who worked at Middletown Nissan. My friends who told me about their experience at Middletown Nissan greatly understated what I believe to be an exceptional Dealership. I can honestly tell you that I will HIGHLY recommend Middletown Nissan to my friends and family. More
