EXCEPTIONAL SUBARU SERVICE DEPARTMENT From my previous visit I had been told I would be needing new brakes soon. That was at a regular oil change. I was informed of the total cost upfront and given the visit I had been told I would be needing new brakes soon. That was at a regular oil change. I was informed of the total cost upfront and given the list of what all would be performed for my next (big service) 60K miles. I had just barely passed 60K miles and when my husband was driving my car, I could start to hear the brakes grinding. I called Michael Hohl and the previous service advisor had not gotten back to me, so when I called again I was connected with Keith. He told me that they could get me in in the next 2 days and that there were options for car rental if there were no loaners available. Appointment time worked out great, drop off was quick and there was a loaner vehicle available. It was nice because it was a newer sports model of the Crosstrek, which I enjoyed driving and is on my potential next car list when this current vehicle needs a trade-in. All information was clearly explained, Keith called me once the 60K service inspection was completed and confirmed that I would need all 4 brakes and rotors replaced. I was given an estimate, which I agreed to and he let me know approximate time of when the vehicle would be totally completed. When I went to pick up my Crosstrek, pick up was smooth, and Keith had found a coupon to apply so the actual price ended up being slightly better than the estimate. It has been a long time since that has happened in our Northern NV area. I must also say that driving into Carson City was totally worth the slightly farther distance as the estimates for cost and how long it would take the other Subaru dealership and a separate (non-Subaru) service shop were significantly more expensive and that second place was closer in price but would take longer to squeeze me in. I would definitely go to Michael Hohl to purchase my next new Subaru and will continue to bring my vehicle in for service there. More
