I was so impressed with the service dept. at this Subaru dealer. I live 6 hrs away in Calif and was on vacation when I had a problem with my car. I spoke with Lexi via email one week ago about a specific Subaru Crosstrek. She quoted me an out the door price. Last night I contacted her to let her know we would like to come in to test drive and purchase Subaru Crosstrek. She quoted me an out the door price. Last night I contacted her to let her know we would like to come in to test drive and purchase. She confirmed the same car was in stock and we set the appointment for 10am this morning. Unfortunately, Lexi was off and set us up with her coworker Parker. Parker emailed me AND texted me this morning to confirm we would be there. We arrived at 10 and when Parker arrived he told us that car had been sold the previous night. He had my phone number and email and did not bother to let us know that the car had been sold, but was able to make sure we wouldn't miss the appointment. Understanding that mistakes happen, we offered to purchase the next model for the same price, but sales manager Kevin told us there was no way. This felt like a bait and switch. Having driven 30 minutes each way, we are very frustrated with Michael Hohl Subaru in Carson and will be sure to tell everyone we know about their sales tactics. More
