buyer beware used vehicles Poor experience buying used vehicle. $300 charge for PULSE blinking tail light that I was told was covered by the dealership for buying the vehicle Poor experience buying used vehicle. $300 charge for PULSE blinking tail light that I was told was covered by the dealership for buying the vehicle was wrapped into the financing as well as GAP coverage which I didn't agree to (was told the dealership would cover the GAP coverage). I really felt scammed after the purchase. Have never felt like that before when buying a car through a dealership. What I was told vs. what actually went into the paperwork were 2 different things. A little bit sleazy Bob was very helpful over the phone but refused to give me a definite price and instead said come by and we’ll talk. Since my brother was going that w Bob was very helpful over the phone but refused to give me a definite price and instead said come by and we’ll talk. Since my brother was going that way I said fine, it’s a 1.5 hr drive. Online price of the vehicle was listed at $11,499. Ok, I got a check and sent my brother up to check out the car. He likes what he sees and goes in to talk about the price. Bob, or his manager comes back with a price of $12,950. He says no go, and they take off their pulse module that they use to up charge the vehicle $299 and the $20 sales tax for the pulse junk and another $30 and say that’s their bottom dollar.. so now the price is $12,601. Even with all taxes, title, and dealer fees it should’ve been $12,432 total for the car out the door. So as far as I can tell they tacked a couple hundred dollars onto their advertised price of the car, and tried to xxxxxxxx their way to a sale.. he called me and told me what happened on his way out the door. If they would’ve been reasonable, or even acting like they wanted to sell the car I would’ve told him to go back and buy it but after all of that I will never go back there or recommend this dealership. After looking at the reviews of their used car sales I guess I shouldn’t be to surprised... More
Very happy with my expierence at Metropolitan Ford I recently purchased my second vehicle from Mike Jones and Metropolitan Ford. He got me the specific vehicle I wanted, which they promptly brought in I recently purchased my second vehicle from Mike Jones and Metropolitan Ford. He got me the specific vehicle I wanted, which they promptly brought in from another dealer. Mike made my whole purchasing experience pleasant and pressure free. He went to work for me multiple times to get me the price I wanted and work out any issues. Torrey in finance was very professional and open, in fact, I was contacted the day after the sale to let me know that they had missed a factory rebate and that I would receive a check in the mail. Once again, I am very happy with my experience with Metropolitan Ford and highly recommend them. More
I'm a customer for life! After one of the recent significant snowfalls, I got stuck in the snow for the last time. My neighbor who dug me out gave me Mike Jones' contact info. After one of the recent significant snowfalls, I got stuck in the snow for the last time. My neighbor who dug me out gave me Mike Jones' contact info. I texted him that same evening with the stock number of the Escape I found on their website. I went to Metropolitan Ford the next morning, and Mike had that Escape pulled right up to the front and WARM! After the test drive, we worked with Torrey Farniok on financing. I was impressed with their commitment to me as a customer and with Ford Motor Credit as a company. I had preapproval from a credit union but was able to get a better rate financing with Ford, and I couldn't be happier! It's been a week, and I'm still 100% satisfied. Mike kept his word and followed up with me via phone after the weekend. My daughter will be a licensed driver in less than a year, and I have already discussed possible options with Mike. We will definitely be visiting again in the next year! More
FRAUD I previously wrote a good review about this business very recently after purchasing my vehicle from them, having felt like my experience was fine and I previously wrote a good review about this business very recently after purchasing my vehicle from them, having felt like my experience was fine and after committing to them that I would write one since they met most of my demands in the negotiations. Well, I'm rewriting my review after finding that they scammed me into signing paperwork with an APR different from what was agreed upon and on all my previous paperwork. They said they were revising to included the Weather Tech mats they were "throwing in" and apparently decided to jack up the APR in the meantime. I'm disgusted to have done business with them - not to mention I owned the car for 2 weeks before one of the speakers blew out after very normal use. Called them to see what I should do, the salesperson didn't remember me after in-depth explanation to who I was and having only just bought the car 2 weeks earlier. He directed me back to the front desk, giving no assistance, and the front desk was unhelpful as well. Ended up seeking out another dealership to resolve the issue for me and they were happy to do so immediately with no trouble. Needless to say, I won't do business with them moving forward and will make sure everyone I talk to knows how they really operate - you're good to them if they can get a sale from you, then after that - I guess you can go to xxxx. You need a lawyer I was preapproved from my bank at 4.99. My salesman asked me if he could try and beat it so I said yes. He came back with 4.59 so I agreed. Everything I was preapproved from my bank at 4.99. My salesman asked me if he could try and beat it so I said yes. He came back with 4.59 so I agreed. Everything simple so far. When it came to the paperwork I saw a $300 charge for PULSE which some blinking thing on your car which I didn’t agree to. Also they threw on gap insurance which I didn’t agree to also. I kept the gap insurance because they convinced me but had them take the pulse off. Thought everything was good. A few weeks later in the mail I get letter talking about the ford credit card I signed up for. In no way did I sign up for a credit card. I just paid off 15k in credit card debt. Definitely not!!!!!!! Also I missed that they changed our agreement and my apr went to 4.94. I really feel like I needed a lawyer there to help me buy a car. Have never felt like that before. This is the second review I have written in my 38 years on this planet so take it seriously. Be careful of Steve Evans and Michael Martinez. More

He understood the situation and got my truck repaired in a very timely manner. I give Todd 5 stars. On the other hand Jes at the service counter was unwilling to help and was quite rude with me on the phone. I give Jes 0 stars. If you have to do any service at this dealership I highly recommend talking with Todd. More

Will purchas elsewhere I purchased a 2013 F150 from this dealership. At this time I purchased a extended warranty for 6 years 125,000 miles. I was told if I did not use the warranty I would receive my money back. At around 110,000 miles I took the truck into this dealership for a $400 repair I was told that if I used the extended warranty to cover this repair I would void getting my money back. I chose to pay out of pocket and save my warranty. At 114,000 and 5 1/2 years I decided to purchase a new truck (different dealership). I took my paperwork into Metropolitan Ford to ask for refund for my unused extended warranty. They said no problem, would submit the paperwork and I would be issued a check. Two weeks later I received a check for $190 for the amount of unused part of warranty. I talked to numerous people at Metropolitan and they stated if I did not complete the length of the warranty there was no full refund. They produced a two page form that had one sentence that stated this. The form they produced had my signature on it. The exact form I had from the time of purchase did not have my signature on it only the finance managers. After numerous trips to dealership and numerous conversations with multiple people it was clear they would not refund my money. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership, my family will never buy another vehicle from this dealership! They pushed this extended warranty on the premise of having nothing to lose because if you never use it you will get your money back. Never once mentioning or even having me sign something that stated if you did not complete warranty time or mileage you would not receive a refund. They even scammed my out of another $400 by convincing my to pay for repair and not use warranty. I’m sure they did nothing illegal but they definitely operate in a deceiving way. I would take my business elsewhere. More
