I thought the service on my recent appointment was outstanding. I was kept abreast of the problem I was having with my Subaru Forrester and the best part was the pick-up and drop off of my car. outstanding. Mike Buono - The Service Advisor You deserve zero stars. I’m taking time to write this review. Since I interacted just with Mr Buono for getting service advice for my vehicle this review/credits sh stars. I’m taking time to write this review. Since I interacted just with Mr Buono for getting service advice for my vehicle this review/credits should only apply to him. I was at Metro West Subaru few weeks ago for vehicle service. I was first greeted my Mr Buono who sits right at the entrance and he asked me what I’m looking to do today. I mentioned various different issues/concerns with the car, please note some of these include concerns that are covered by warranty. My car is still under that 36k miles warranty. There are other things which would fall under general maintenance. which I’m aware of. He brings me the quote of 800$. I took some time to look at the various things that will be covered by the service and I requested Mr Buono the price breakdown for the each service, that’s fine if they don’t have a breakdown of the prices or they don’t provide such info customers. But here is when things changed, I see change in Mr Buono’s behavior, the way he talks and his body language. I was astonished by this guy’s sheer arrogance… wow I’ve never seen such a rudest service advisor so far. This is my fifth car and l lived different states but this guy’s condescending behavior shocked me. The moment I asked for the breakdown of prices Mr Buono’s tone of voice changes, he looks at the service quote randomly gives me the number how much it would cost me for each service and that doesn’t even match up for 800$ quote he initially gave me. He looks at his computer and says we are bringing up things which would be covered under warranty and “we are trying to achieve by bringing those up”?? And keep saying that “this transaction is not clear” I want to know what does he mean by that statement. I have a simple question to Mr Buono if he buys a car with any company which offer 35k miles warranty for certain things. Would you like to take care of those issues under warranty or you will pay out of pocket?? During this conversation Mr Buono’s face changes,he can’t sit,he leaves back to service area which is behind him and goes to restroom. He can’t answer any of the questions I asked him, he said I don’t care and don’t come to Metro West Subaru go else where… woah!! What a rude behavior for an employee working at a company.I work at a company too where I interact with 100 customers on daily basis but not like this. I have a question for Mr Buono, he just talks to everyone else like this or just me because the way I looked? Even Subaru CEO could been better I guess. He asked not to visit Metro West service Station, I’m still not over it. Just wow!! I really love Subaru cars, in fact my friend brought one upon my advice. Because of this gentleman I lost my opinion on the brand itself. Seriously whoever is managing this guy need to put him under some training. More

Yesterday I brought my Subaru in for an oil change and to have them change the bulb on my drivers side rear. When I pulled out onto RT 9, I put on the directional to change lanes and it didn't work. I called have them change the bulb on my drivers side rear. When I pulled out onto RT 9, I put on the directional to change lanes and it didn't work. I called the dealership this morning. I was told I needed the service advisor who I had the day before. It took a couple of minutes to find it. She then told me he wasn't answering the phone. I asked for the Service Manager and was told he wasn't answering his phone. She said she would have someone call me back. I tried the chat on the web site but when I said they were making me not want to do business again, he stopped communicating with me. I just threw my book for the new Solterra in the trash and will continue my search elsewhere. More

I recently went in for a 60,000 miles service, very expensive, After this service which includes spark plugs, I found I had two new issues. The car now hesitates at idle and low speed and an A/C drain expensive, After this service which includes spark plugs, I found I had two new issues. The car now hesitates at idle and low speed and an A/C drain plugged and dumped a few quarts of water on the right front floor. I returned to the dealer to fix these issues. I had to return 3 times to get the A/C duct fixed. 2 times it was as bad when I got home. The hesitation was NOT fixed and I will have to go somewhere with the expertise to fix this, I asked Metrowest and whatever they did had no effect on the problem. More
Sales department is great, but their service department is lousy at best. Recently had to reach out to my sales partner that I purchased my car from last April to get ahold of the service department. My is lousy at best. Recently had to reach out to my sales partner that I purchased my car from last April to get ahold of the service department. My latest issue with the service department is I brought my 2020 Subaru in for its 12,000 mile service in early 2021 and requested a variety of services be completed, of which only 20% of these items were completed (confirmed with a customer care associate). Left 2 voicemails or call back requests with Mike on Thursday 7/15 and still haven’t gotten a call back… They’ve officially lost my business as this is not the first time I have had an issue with their service department. Epic Fail (service center) This was my first (and last) visit to MetroWest Subaru. I thought I’d give them a try because I liked the convenience of their extended service center This was my first (and last) visit to MetroWest Subaru. I thought I’d give them a try because I liked the convenience of their extended service center hours. As such, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and battery check. They were booking appointments three weeks out when I called which probably should have been a red flag right there as some places will just let you pull in without an appointment for basic/routine services. I arrived at 3:30 PM for my 4:00 PM appointment and was checked in at the service bay. They took down the mileage, confirmed the services I had requested in advance, and documented the condition of the car with an iPad. I was then sent upstairs to the waiting area. By 5:30 PM I started thinking it was taking longer than it ought to and had not been checked on by anybody. By 6:15 PM I went back down to the service counter to check on the progress of the work. To my disbelief, they had no record in the computer of me or my car being there. This, despite the fact that the appointment had been on the books for 3 weeks and that I was physically checked in and on site. Behind the counter, the service representatives looked at each other slack-jawed, stymied by their own incompetence and unsure where to point the finger of blame. They had no answers for what had happened. They did offer to get started on the work and do it for free but by that time I had been there for almost 3 hours and had no confidence in the place so I declined the offer and walked out. I left there feeling betrayed, frustrated, and furious. This was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had (for anything...not just cars). I suggest steering clear of this place. More
