I usually don't write reviews but after reading the bad comments about this dealership I felt I should say something so people wouldn't be scared away. They were great. Salesmen were knowledgeable, management was direct and fair. Price was fantastic and they went the extra mile to make sure everything was ready for delivery. More
I was not sure I could afford a new car, so the first thing I said was, "I am looking in the $200-$250 range for a monthly payment." The salesman said, "Great, sounds like you want a Forrester." I was ex thing I said was, "I am looking in the $200-$250 range for a monthly payment." The salesman said, "Great, sounds like you want a Forrester." I was excited, I test drove the car, and the salesman continued to tell me how this would be a great price. After 45 minutes, he brought over quotes on the vehicle that ranged from $378-$425! Complete waste of my time. It is not cool to lead someone on like that, and then drop the money hammer. We immediately shook hands and ran for the exit. More
After visiting a few Subaru dealers in search of a 2008 Forester, I settled (foolishly) upon MetroWest Subaru of Natick. Up until I actually had to get the car, things went relatively smoothly. However, af Forester, I settled (foolishly) upon MetroWest Subaru of Natick. Up until I actually had to get the car, things went relatively smoothly. However, after signing a deal on Tuesday, I didn't hear back from them about the car's readiness until the following week, and this was only after I initiated a series of calls. After a WEEK AND A HALF and countless phone calls during which I was told that it "wasn't (their) fault - the car's still in Rhode Island, I called once again (they never called me when they said they would) and Michael the manager told me that if I couldn't be patient I could just forget it and he'd sell the car to someone else. No apologies, no gracious concessions, no nothing. I feel like such a boob for being beholden to these incompetent and condescending "salespeople." As another blogger wrote, "If MetroWest's goal is to not sell cars, they're doing a really good job!" They should rename their dealership MetroWest Boobaru. More
Test drove an Outback and was all set to buy. When I told the salesman that this would be done through my company's leasing program (for a company car), he told me that they nor any dealer of any make would the salesman that this would be done through my company's leasing program (for a company car), he told me that they nor any dealer of any make would make such a deal (despite me having done so two times before), and said goodbye. I walked next door to Volkswagen and had a deal within thirty minutes. If Metrowest Subaru's goal is avoiding sales, they sure do a good job! More
