My Forester was totally dead; it was Memorial Day and service shops were closed. I went to the Metrowest dealership. Marc Soloway, a salesperson, asked if he could be of help. I told him what my proble service shops were closed. I went to the Metrowest dealership. Marc Soloway, a salesperson, asked if he could be of help. I told him what my problem was and he thought he knew what was wrong. He got into his car and followed me to my home, approximately 6 miles away. His analysis (dead battery) was correct and he successfully started the car, much to my relief. I had not bought the Forester at that dealership, so that level of service stunned and thrilled me and Metrowest Subaru has made a friend for life. More
Tony Chahwan was the best car sales person I have dealt with. He was not pushy what-so-ever and he was very patient. Tony is very up-front and candid, he does not try to "sell" you a car. His approach i with. He was not pushy what-so-ever and he was very patient. Tony is very up-front and candid, he does not try to "sell" you a car. His approach is that of a professional who is going to assist you with your car selection and help you throughout the process. Tony was very knowledgeable regarding all aspects Subaru vehicles - especially the mechanical aspects and how the cars are manufactured. He is an excellent representative of this automobile. Tony was very reassuring during the sales process and my entire experience working with him was excellent. He delivered on exactly what he said he would do at the time he promised. It was a great car buying experience working with him. I would not recommend anyone else at Metrowest other than Tony. He is #1. More

When the car was ready, Jeff patiently sat in the car with me until I knew how to operate all the features of the car (bluetooth, wipes, etc.) I highly recommend working with Jeff!! I would like to recommend Jake McEvoy, Sales Consultant, at Metrowest Subaru, for his professional, no-pressure sales approach. It had been 13 years since I bought a new car, and I will not wait as long to at Metrowest Subaru, for his professional, no-pressure sales approach. It had been 13 years since I bought a new car, and I will not wait as long to buy another given the positive experience I had working with Jake and the rest of the staff at Metrowest. Prior to going to any dealerships, I did extensive research using Consumer Guide Reports and Edmunds.com to choose a car. My priorities were safety and reliability and the Subaru Impreza satisfied my requirements. I chose the dealership using the AAA Car Buying Program, the No Haggle, No Hassle, online car buying tool. You input the make, model, trim line, transmission, and any options you want, and the tool outputs three certificates from competing dealers. Metrowest had the lowest price. When I met Jake, I explained I would buy the car if I liked the test drive and Metrowest honored the buying certificate from AAA. I liked the car and Metrowest offered me a price lower than the certificate. Easy decision. Throughout the entire buying experience Jake was knowledgeable and very respectful, never pressuring me to make any decisions before I was ready. The easy-going approach didn't end after making the deal. Jake took his time and patiently taught me how to use all the new technology on the car. It was a very satisfying new car buying experience for me. More
This is the 3rd car we have purchased from Jeff at MetroWest. We went there originally because of the CostCo auto program and keep going back because of the amazing service and best deal anywhere. In MetroWest. We went there originally because of the CostCo auto program and keep going back because of the amazing service and best deal anywhere. In this day and age to work with people so straightforward and intent on quality customer service is rare. This time out we had intended to buy the Limited because I wanted the Navigation package and we had to go up to that. Jeff could have sold us this more expensive car, but had the Premium fully loaded in the color I wanted right there. He knew I didn't care about a moonroof and other things like that from working with us before. Terrific price, which we recognized from having rpiced various 2013 Imprezzas online plus he threw in all weather mats. It's the little things. We have recommended MeroWest to many people and please note this is not the nearest dealership to us. Years ago for our first Subaru we went there and it was all we could do to get anyone's attention, let alone sell us a car. In our dealings at MetroWest I have watched the other salespeople with customers and they are uniformly excellent. You are not going to get a hard sell here. What you will get is the feeling that you are with people who sincerely want to do the best they can for you. I love my new car! P.S. I heard about you because I asked the dealership if there was something I could fill out about how great the experience has always been. More
After reading many reviews of buyers' experiences at Subaru dealers in the greater Boston area, I decided to visit Metrowest Subaru first. I was immediately impressed by the friendly, low-key and know Subaru dealers in the greater Boston area, I decided to visit Metrowest Subaru first. I was immediately impressed by the friendly, low-key and knowledgeable attention my wife and I received from Marc Soloway. Although I had decided exactly which model (an Outback 2.5 limited) and options I wanted to purchase before I entered the dealership, we had a pleasant meeting as Marc took the time to get to know us, brought up points we hadn't considered, and left no stone unturned in our Subaru education. The purchase experience was prompt, competent, and free of unpleasant surprises. The business manager deserves special note for an unusually clear presentation of financing and warranty options. Marc took the time to explain everything. In that this was my first new car purchase in 10 years, there were a lot of new things, mostly electronic , to explain. Everyone Marc introduced us to at the dealership couldn't have been friendlier in a genuine, eager to help way. Overall, Marc provided me with my most positive new car buying experience in over 40 years. More
I just purchased my first Subaru (Outback) from Metrowest, and could not be happier. My decision to purchase a Subaru was made long before deciding on a dealer to work with. With that being the Metrowest, and could not be happier. My decision to purchase a Subaru was made long before deciding on a dealer to work with. With that being the first step, I was then left with the decision of where to buy the car. This was a very involved process, as there are several options in the area. My approach was to visit a dealer, get a sense of what they were looking for, and see if if matched what I was looking for (which by the way was a good deal and a long-term relationship). What I got from almost all of the not to be named dealers was an attempt to size me up to see how deep my wallet was, a pre-judgement of how I could help them meet their quota for the month, and focus only on a quick, one time sale. No thank you! What I got with Metrowest, and more specifically Jeff Ricard, was the following. Jeff allowed me to spend time getting to know him, and what he and Metrowest stood for. At no time did he ask how much I had to spend, or try to push me into an immediate sale. At the end of our conversation, we shook hands, and left it at that. I got the information that I needed, and didn't feel pressured. Sign me up! From there, the negotiation was handled very fairly and was also very transparent. The end result was that I am in a great car, and have linked up with a dealership that I will work with for a very long time. If you want a dealer that will treat you with respect, and look to provide a win/win outcome, Jeff and Metrowest will deliver that. More
Emailed the salesman from whom we bought the 2011 car about a recall notice repair and fixing a side mirror. No response. Called the service department, and Mike suggested bringing the car in (40 minut about a recall notice repair and fixing a side mirror. No response. Called the service department, and Mike suggested bringing the car in (40 minute drive) to look at the mirror, first emailing him pictures of the mirror so that he could see if they could repair it with parts in stock. I send him the pictures, then brought the car in at the agreed on time and day. No sign of Mike. The service desk knew nothing of pictures. Bob Montpelier sold ($120) me an oil change and tire rotation (at, it turned out when I looked it up at home, more than twice the price usually charged for a synthetic oil change), said they'd check on the mirror, and promised a wait of 1.5-2 hours, short enough so that I wouldn't need a loaner. The wait turned out to be 3 hours. The mirror, fully functional except for a crack in the housing, would need to be completely replaced said Bob, at a cost of $360 ($210 is the MSRP, $160 is the standard online price) and a wait of another 3-5 business days, plus another round trip to see them. On departing, I found that in replacing the center seat belt, they had removed the child's seat in back -- which they didn't mention -- without reattaching it. Time, money, honesty, responsiveness -- you name it, they didn't have it. More
