On the other hand, the Ford dealer where I bought my C-Max took ten working days to change a thermostat under warranty, and informed me that the mechanic assigned to my car had a backup of ten vehicles and he couldn't get to mine for a week and a half. That is why I chose Metro Ford, and am happy with my choice. More
Inaccurate Diagnosis I went in to have the oil changed, tires rotated and a diagnostic test run on the Check Engine Light. They came back with two parts to be replaced, p I went in to have the oil changed, tires rotated and a diagnostic test run on the Check Engine Light. They came back with two parts to be replaced, parts and labor were around $1000. The service representative made this fix feel like an immediate need for my car to operate without failure, but in fact, the car was fine. I had a second opinion from a local mechanic, Cherokee Hill Auto, who charged less than half the price for the diagnostic test, did not find the same issue as Metro Ford, reconnected the vacuum hose and replaced a sensor for about $200. Will not return to Metro Ford for any further Auto Service. More

The part came in a couple of days and the repairs were quick. He even reminded me it was close to the next oil change and we took care of that too. No one is ever glad to take their truck in for repairs, but it's nice when the crew makes it pretty painless. More
