" Don't shoot the messenger" Poor James...had to deal with me, well my car that is. I have had so many issues with my vehicle that for the last couple of months my car seemed to o Poor James...had to deal with me, well my car that is. I have had so many issues with my vehicle that for the last couple of months my car seemed to of spent more time there then with me and through it all he did his best to keep me informed and reasured my worries and frustrations VIA email he listened to me even when I was angry he still managed to help me get through it. He was very patient as I was loosing mine. Although I still have some kinks to get through and wish that the service dept. had all the tools and thier mechanics had more experiance to accomidate my car so I wouldn't of had to be referred to a BMW specialist seeing that I had bought my car through Merchants .....James was the middle man and I could see he truly cared and felt bad for all that I had gone through, Hes a true professional, and and true person. I thank you James for doing the best you could!! The lack of 5 stars has nothing to do with James ..it is based on the Service Dept. Anything with the 5 stars is ment for James . Thanks L.V More

Guy Nichols understands "Service" My wife and I have been working with Merchants auto for the past few years. It is only until recently when I fell ill and was unable to work things go My wife and I have been working with Merchants auto for the past few years. It is only until recently when I fell ill and was unable to work things got real tight around our house. I dreaded the day something went wrong with my/our vehicle(s) and we wouldn't be able to afford a repair. I went into the service center to get a quote on some repairs and that is when I learned that the service center does have individuals truly dedicated to customer service. I hardly write reviews of stores, or employees because very few truly go out of their way for their customers but I would gladly recommend anyone going to the merchants auto service center to speak to Guy Nichols, he truly does understand what it means to deliver a "Great customer experience". More

greedy service department I went to get my cat inspected and was told that my car needed almost 840.00 worth of work. And that I needed an outer tie rod end and a rack and pin. I went to get my cat inspected and was told that my car needed almost 840.00 worth of work. And that I needed an outer tie rod end and a rack and pin. I told the technician that I believe I had the outer tie rod replaced he said no the part looks like it has never been replaced abd that the rack and pin is leaking power sterering fluid. I have them put the car back together because I want a second opinion. A week goes by I keep checking my power steering fluid, still full. Brought my car to Sullivan tire they showed me where my outer tie rod end had been replaced previously and that the rack and pin was not leaking anywhere, they had three technicians look at the car they can't find anything wrong with the car that was on merchant autos service summary. My car was inspected without needing the work that merchants claimed I needed. I paid for the inspection which would have been free through the dealership because I bought the car there but it was much cheaper than what the dealership claimed I needed. I called and spoke to the manager in the service department and was told it was one mechanic opinion to another.as far as I knew state inspection is a standard and not a matter of opinion. More
The service center is always friendly and up front about repairs that are need, check in is quick and easy. My car is always ready on time or earlier when they say it will be done. If it takes longer they t repairs that are need, check in is quick and easy. My car is always ready on time or earlier when they say it will be done. I bought a Toyota RAV4 in April from Scott and Rudy. I I bought a Toyota RAV4 in April from Scott and Rudy. I started the dealing with Scott and ended with Rudy. Both were very pleasant to deal with and I bought a Toyota RAV4 in April from Scott and Rudy. I started the dealing with Scott and ended with Rudy. Both were very pleasant to deal with and after an initial problem, we were on a role and things went smoothly from there. We drove home with our new vehicle. I received an email recently from Scott and Rudy asking about my satisfaction. I emailed and told them that I wanted another key. Scott emailed me back right away and told me to call him. Before I could get a chance to call Scott, he called me. He explained that used vehicles only come with one key unless they have two keys. He offered me another key at their price and I accepted this offer. He told me to make the arrangements with Service Department for an appointment. When I went into the Service Department for my free oil change, I made an appointment to have another key made. The Service Department made the appointment and gave me a price. The price was higher than what Scott gave me so I asked them to talk with Scott because that wasn't the price he quoted me. When I went in to get my key made, I left with the price Scott gave me and the Service Department told me that the key was at a much higher cost and Scott would have to pay the difference because he already quoted me a price. Talk about service! THANK YOU SCOTT! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your help, being a man of your word, character, and immediate help. This was something you didn't have to do. This is my second review of Merchants Auto. The first was about the purcahse of my vehicle. I stopped in on Friday afternoon (with no appointment). I had a flat tire that I got earlier in the day whi was about the purcahse of my vehicle. I stopped in on Friday afternoon (with no appointment). I had a flat tire that I got earlier in the day while I was out in the Keene area. I did not feel comfortable driving on the spare and wanted to see if my tire could be repaired. They took my car right in and were able to repair the tire. They even put the spare back in the correct place (sadly, I have been to other places that do not make this practice). My car was ready quickly and everyone was very pleasant. The best part? The bath my Jeep got before it was returned to me! Thanks, again, Merchants for another wonderful experience!! Amy More
