Mike Roth in Service delivered the good news that only the pwr window button was in Drivers Side power window ops quit ..... expected the worst ...... Mike Roth in Service delivered the good news that only the pwr window button was inop ... so the visit was quick and easy and hassle free. Upfront charge I brought my old car into the Benz Dealer to see why the coolant was leaking out had an appointment at 11:00 Upon arrival my mother dropped the car of I brought my old car into the Benz Dealer to see why the coolant was leaking out had an appointment at 11:00 Upon arrival my mother dropped the car off for me with Rick the service person. Around 1:00 pm Dan called said the car cost $600.00 to fix, the car is old so I said no dont fix it, left a message that i would pick up the car, he called back to say by the way "NOT SURE" if Rick told you but it cost $132.00. Since my mom picked it up she just paid the bill not knowing they NEVER told me of a fee until i told them they can't do the work. Called ask for Tom the manager who tried to over talk me and offered half the money since it was a miscommuncition, there was no miscommunication nobody never told me, ask to speak to his boss ( who I know was already going to run tell i was calling) Joe Alcodray got on the phone already with a hostale voice, said he was only giving me half and he was the end and I could not speak to no one else. The problem for me was not the money the problem was you cant take a customers car and not tell them UPFRONT how much its going to be.If you tell a customer in the beginning they can determine if they want to bring it there, you cant wait until they say they dont want you to fix the car and say BY THE WAY. Just say sorry someone should have told you that UPFRONT and the ball was dropped. And BY THE WAY I did find the oweners info so Joe Alcodray wont be the last stop! IT'S NOT THE MONEY IT'S THE PRINCIPLE. More

I brought my car in here and they recommended about $2,000 worth of work be done. I had a $250 part installed instead of the $2000 worth of work they recommended and now my car runs fine. They also never go out of their way to accommodate you. It is always like pulling teeth to find out what they can do for you. I've never once heard them say - "What can we do to accommodate you so that we can get your car in here and take a look at it?" It seems like it is always a fight/struggle when dealing with them. I had better customer service from dealerships of inexpensive cars I've owned over the years. More

The service department at this dealership is a nightmare. They never call you to let you know your car is finished and a lot of the time the amounts on the bill are incorrect. They just ask for your credit card. I brought my car in to have a minor repair made. I told them exactly what needed to be done. They did not make the repair and told me that the entire mechanism had to be replaced for a cost of $700. It only needed a minor part and not the entire mechanism replaced. I had to pick up my car without the work being performed. I replaced the part myself for a cost of around $6.00. They also do not review your vehicle history before you bring your car in and they end up recommending work be performed that has already been done on your car. It is unbelievable that the service is this poor at a Benz dealership. More

I've worked with Dan Steffer several times over the past few years. I've always found him to be friendly and very knowledgeable. He has a courteous and calm manner about him which makes the experience less few years. I've always found him to be friendly and very knowledgeable. Have purchased 2 vehicles at this dealership. Have had very little problems with the service department until my last visit (they are now under different management). The service department placed the wro very little problems with the service department until my last visit (they are now under different management). The service department placed the wrong tires on my vehicle. I called to tell them the mistake - no one seems to care - I paid several hundred dollars for the tires and was expecting the same tire that was on the car. The service department has not returned my phone calls - I have emailed the service manager and the sales manager and have not heard back. The customer service is very poor now at this dealership. I have a feeling it has something to do with the new owners. I have never been treated so poorly. This is why my ratings are poor with this company. I would suggest purchasing and servicing your MB at another location. More
