Extremely professional, realistic in their used car prices. Like others that have provided reviews, I do a good bit of research before deciding to buy a car. Because of my high annual mileage driven I tend not buy new and I can't lease; instead I go for clean off-lease premium vehicles. I usually spend weeks shopping on and off line because for me "the hunt" is part of the fun of getting a new car.. But let's face it: research reveals that the Internet sets fair market value these days, not any of the "blue books" or "price guides" which in my experience tend to over value resale prices, especially on higher-end cars. My previous purchases have been through reputable independent resellers as most dealers I've approached either look down upon used car sales or tend to bloat their used asking prices perhaps to steer prospects towards new cars. However as explained above, that does not work for me. While I understand that some buyers may bite on the higher used car prices paid at dealers for what may or may not be a additional security gained through dealer purchases, I tend to rely on CarFax maintenance/accident histories and price/options as the primary factors on where to buy and what to pay. So with all of the above in consideration I was very happy to find a beautiful 2012 SLK350 at MB of Wilmington at fair market value with the added bonus of being CPO thereby extending the factory warranty for another year. The combination of Mercedes maintenance history, CPO certification, and competitive price made it a combination hard to beat. Moreover they were willing to work with my BMW 650i trade in value which helped to close the gap on the deal.. But what really put the icing on the cake was the personal and professional treatment received while consummating the transaction that made me feel like a life-long customer. As a "car guy" I appreciate that Manager Carlos "gets it" regarding moving used cars at fair prices; and Alissa's cheerful attitude almost made me forget to execute a few important details! All of this was set up by Scott Z who helped with the front-end negotiations before I walked in the door thereby minimizing stress or a wasted trip. Overall I most certainly will consider MB of Wilmington for future purchases. It's well worth the two-hour drive from my home. I have no reservations recommending them to others and will likely do so as I am often asked (the car guy thing). More

Yes, I can be a bit of a geek. As such, the new car purchase experience can be either hit or miss. There are dealerships that will work with me ... and others that just want follow their own protocols regardless of how I may want to do business. In my search for a new car, I looked at Lincoln, Buick, Lexus, Audi, and Mercedes. When I first met Samira Maragov at Mercedes Benz of Wilmington, my wife and I had a good feeling that we were going to have a positive experience working with her. I inquired about a MB C300W4. She listened attentively to my preferences and picked the perfect car for a test drive. Samira was knowledgeable about all the vehicle's capabilities and features. She answered all of our questions without any hard sell tactics. I returned again for a second test drive and she even remained a little after closing time to ensure that I had all the information I needed. When I made my decision to purchase the car ... the same car that she originally selected, I contacted her with my offer price and she got back to me the same day. It proved to be a very favorable, easy, and no pressure experience. When we took delivery of the C300, we were in and out of the dealership in under an hour ... and that included the overview of the vehicle and its many features. The Sales Manager and Finance Manager were very personable and professional. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Samira and the staff at MB of Wilmington. More

I looked at many dealers and chose this one because of the proximity to my work. I have to say this was by far the MOST pleasant buying experience I have ever had. I worked with Dave Gershman and he was terrific. He could tell that I wasn't an inexperienced car buyer and didn't treat me like one. He took the time to explain everything, and we went on a very thorough test drive. When it came time to make a deal, we went back and forth a total of 3 times, they knew where I needed to be and were able to work with me to get the deal done. Then I went over to the business manager Dave Busby, he was also fantastic. Never pushy about the extra options, explained which ones were worth it, and was out the door. They even followed up to make sure I got home ok during a snowstorm. What car salesman do you know that has ever called to make sure you got home ok? Needless to say, I will be going back here whenever I need to buy another car. I would also highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a Mercedes Benz More

Around 1:00 pm Dan called said the car cost $600.00 to fix, the car is old so I said no dont fix it, left a message that i would pick up the car, he called back to say by the way "NOT SURE" if Rick told you but it cost $132.00. Since my mom picked it up she just paid the bill not knowing they NEVER told me of a fee until i told them they can't do the work. Called ask for Tom the manager who tried to over talk me and offered half the money since it was a miscommuncition, there was no miscommunication nobody never told me, ask to speak to his boss ( who I know was already going to run tell i was calling) Joe Alcodray got on the phone already with a hostale voice, said he was only giving me half and he was the end and I could not speak to no one else. The problem for me was not the money the problem was you cant take a customers car and not tell them UPFRONT how much its going to be.If you tell a customer in the beginning they can determine if they want to bring it there, you cant wait until they say they dont want you to fix the car and say BY THE WAY. Just say sorry someone should have told you that UPFRONT and the ball was dropped. And BY THE WAY I did find the oweners info so Joe Alcodray wont be the last stop! IT'S NOT THE MONEY IT'S THE PRINCIPLE. More

I told him what I could afford and he said he would make it happen and he and the manager, Marcia Grosso did make it happen!!! I never dreamed I would be driving a Mercedes! No one else was even close to the deal they made me. I am thrilled with my 250 and every day I get in and start it, I get the same thrill and silently thank them. I decided silence wasn't fair to them. I had to write about my experience at their dealership. From the moment it was delivered, I have had support with several follow up calls to see if I need more instruction on how to find the bells and whistles across my dash. I am so impressed with this dealership and being a small business owner, it reminds me how critical customer service is. Thank you Marlin and Marcia. I love my new car and I thank you every day! We have never signed paperwork with any other dealership as quick as it was with Henry at the Wilmington dealership. Because of the service my Husband I received at the dealership we will always purchase from Wilmington Mercedes Benz dealership while we are living in the area. We give this dealership 10 stars for there service and the friendly atmosphere. More
