Tony is my service manager. Needed some semi-emergency work done on my car. Tony got it in right away and had it looked at by a tech. The parts were located and installed. I paid and picked up the car unfortunately a part was overlooked that should have been replaced. The result a very bad situation. When Tony was told of this he had me return Monday morning and had a loaner available. Bob the Service manager checked it out this time and took the time to point out other things to be addressed in future visits. Bob also personally test drove the car to insure all was well. Both of these men are an asset to your dealership. I recently referred a friend and co-worker to Tony. I assured her he would take good care of her and the car. JUST WANTED BASIC OIL CHANGE BUT GOT MUCH MORETHAN I WANTED! I made the reservation 2 weeks ago. Told the lady I just wanted a basic oil change & she told me it would be around $100. My wife took the car in yest I made the reservation 2 weeks ago. Told the lady I just wanted a basic oil change & she told me it would be around $100. My wife took the car in yesterday & I got the "A" SERVICE for $230!!! My wife NEVER agreed to this---she just wanted the oil change. I spoke to Tony & he said that they asked her to clarify what service she wanted---this did not happen!!! So I had to pay and extra $100 for work that was totally unnecessary & not wanted. for example: just Monday I put in fuel additive myself & topped off my washer fluid----but on Tuesday Tony put it in again & charged me $17.50 for the additive & $16 for the washer fluid!! etc, etc. I feel like my wife was taken advantage of & my wishes were ignored. You guys need to be better than this. John Leddy More

Engine replacement, x2 My 2006 Coupe presented with computer engine codes (1200 and 1208) that were keeping it from passing DMV inspection. The Wilmington Mercedes recommen My 2006 Coupe presented with computer engine codes (1200 and 1208) that were keeping it from passing DMV inspection. The Wilmington Mercedes recommendation was to replace the engine.. The repair effort to fix the balance shaft problem would require tear down of the motor, many other problems may be found. Too many unknowns. A newer motor would be more beneficial and would have a newer intake as well. (nearly verbatim the explanation I have in a text to support a new engine.) This occurred on Aug 8. Two replacement engines later the car was ready for pick up on September 17. Besides the six weeks to stew, lack of written information in response to my questions and concerns, I found that I didn't have any windshield washer fluid. A small detail, maybe. But how does one replace an engine, and not check all fluids? What other things under the hood were overlooked? I've got a 6 month warranty time period to find out. My low score is due to low confidence Right when the mechanic was about to hand me a piece of paper with information on my new replacement engine, that I had asked for, the customer service agent said no and sent the mechanic away with the paper. What's that about? Certainly not a confidence winner for me. More
