My husband and I drove from Philadelphia to White Plains to purchase a certified pre-owned GL. The sales person, Peter Makaj, knew we were driving from out of town about a three hour drive both ways. We s to purchase a certified pre-owned GL. The sales person, Peter Makaj, knew we were driving from out of town about a three hour drive both ways. We saw the vehicle on line but of course needed to test drive the car to ensure quality, etc. After test driving the GL we decided to make the purchase. The interior of the vehicle needed to be cleaned/detailed - rugs, seats, cup holder. . . Mr. Makaj assured us that while we waited that he had four men who would detail the car. Two and a half hours after we were told that the car would be detailed someone drove the car over to us. The only items that were cleaned were the dash board and a smudge on the driver’s visor. When I expressed my disgruntledness Mr. Makaj ignored me. My husband and I needed to make the trek back home so we left. Luckily the car is certified because we are now experiencing several minor issues with the GL. The coolant is low, the auto hatch is not working properly, etc. I believe the car was on lease and upon returning it to the dealer, the dealer basically flipped it without having it serviced. Then my husband and I purchased it. We were also told that the the second car key would be FedExed to us the very next day along with the plates. Needless to say after several phone calls and emails, two and a half weeks later we finally received the key and plates. More

I'm a little surprised about the 2 semi-negative reviews. I love this dealership, friendly, good work, very responsive. I used to use Greenwich M/B for service but they were HORRIBLE, see my review for that dealer. I drive an extra 20 miles to go here, and it's worth every bit of my time and gas to do so. I use Angelo as my service advisor and he is great- always looking for ways to save me money, supportive when i want to defer non-crucial items, to the point and efficient, and he never forgets to keep me updated on the status of the work. The service department is very busy- when you arrive in the morning sometimes there are 15 cars in line checking in for service. However they run pretty much like clockwork and have you out quickly. They have very good loaner cars, either C class or ML's. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to you... I've had no experience w/ the sales department so I can't comment on that side of the business. More
