My 1996 Mercedes-Benz E300 Diesel had quite a few problems like starting trouble, excessive black smoke, check engine/check electronics/check battery signs etc...etc. At that time I was on a business problems like starting trouble, excessive black smoke, check engine/check electronics/check battery signs etc...etc. At that time I was on a business trip to overseas. My wife took it to the Mercedes-Benz factory trained technicians twice but they couldn't fix the problems. When I came back from overseas I spoke to Chris Tokarz, the Director of Service & Parts at the Mercedes-Benz of White Plains. He listened every thing I had to say very patiently and assigned Octavio Otiniano as my Service Advisor. Mr. Otiniano arranged a brand new Mercedes-Benz loaner for me and kept my car there for 8 days for diagnosis. Periodically he called me on the phone and explained the problems they detected and the solutions. They fixed all the problems and delivered to me like a new car at a very reasonable price. I thought this will be a nice way to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Tokarz and Mr. Otiniano. Their knowledge, experience, care and courtesy are second to none. George Varghese More
