Mercedes was kind enough to arrange and paid for enterprise rental for the four days. The ML 350 2006 car that is still in the dealership has a taillights recall. The taillights don’t work when the brakes are being used, and the taillights don’t work when the signals are being used. A Mercedes dealership tried replacing the bulbs, and it did not fix it. I was explained that the contacts are bad and they cannot be fixed because they are part of the car. Therefore the Mercedes factory has to replace the car. The Westmont dealership has refused to request a car replacement from the factory, and they also refused to send me an invoice. And they stole the loaner that they had given me from the private parking lot where I was at the time; they had Streets and Sanitation of Chicago tow it as an ID mismatch so they can release it to the owner, I.e the dealership. Our car is in the dealership since the 10th of May. And they have refused to give me a loaner back until this issue is resolved. More
I am most comfortable having my car serviced at the dealership. I feel if the technicians work primarily on Mercedes automobiles, then they know everything there is to know about Mercedes! Had an appointment at Mercedes Westmont and Rob in the service Dept helped ,me. Rob got me in early, and actually did the work himself, he was able to fix my window switch / repair in a very short tim service Dept helped ,me. My car was there for 8 days , they offered no car , had to uber to a Dr Appointment, called every day to get the status, one response everyday, there's been an opened ticket but we don't know. On day 8 I went to go pick up my car and was slapped with a 1006.00 invoice. Absolutely not. Only told on the 7th day I needed a battery 675.49. What a ripoff. More
