My 1999 MB SL500 that I have driven over 225,000 miles (and always serviced at Westmont MB since new) was making a rattling, clunking sound. Though nothing was dragging beneath vehicle, I feared a part wa (and always serviced at Westmont MB since new) was making a rattling, clunking sound. Though nothing was dragging beneath vehicle, I feared a part was loose and going to fall out! My service advisor, Brian R., had it in for service and gave me a loaner. I received a call from Brian that it was one of my catalytic converters that was broken (not due to tampering). Unfortunately, MB no longer made that part due to age of car. He recommended a small, independent, local Naperville business who could customize a part to fit and repair my car. I followed through having part replaced at the small, local business. Car hasn't run so quietly and smoothly in a long time. Westmont MB goes the extra "mile" offering exceptional customer service. I drive 25 miles from my home for them to service my car and will as long as it keeps running. BAVO to service writer, Brian, the mechanic that works on older MB vehicles, Lorraina phone receptionist, sales staff, and management.They all have listening ears and strive to do their best work.
