This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a dealership in my 48 years... We purchased a Mercedes from Sil Terhar Motors in Broomfield. The moon roof was inoperable when we purchased had at a dealership in my 48 years... We purchased a Mercedes from Sil Terhar Motors in Broomfield. The moon roof was inoperable when we purchased the vehicle and Sil Terhar was willing to pay for the repair. After having their shop look at the moon roof, they told me to take it to Mercedes and they would take care of the repair cost. Mercedes of Westminster is the closest dealer to us, so we scheduled an appointment to drop the vehicle off. From the get go, this was a mess. We scheduled a drop off for about a week later and delivered the car. The car was not even looked at for another 3-4 days. After finally looking at the car, it was determined that the whole inner workings of the moon roof needed to be replaced to the tune of approximately $4,400. After speaking with Sil Terhar, they agreed to pay for the complete repair. A couple weeks passed and the repair was finally complete, but we still couldn't get our car back because somehow, they blew a tire on our car. While the did fix the tire, it took an additional two days just to do that. Sil Terhar was kind enough to provide us with a loaner car during this whole fiasco and offered to pick up our Mercedes, deliver it to our house and take back their loaner vehicle. The first time my wife got back into her car, she noticed that there was damage to the headliner on both D posts in the back seat of the car. When I got in the back seat it was apparent that they had damaged the head liner and I also found a grease spot on the white leather seats and 2 applicator straws like you'd get with a can of WD-40, one on the seat and one on the floor. I called Sil Terhar to inform them what happened and because their tech looked at the car before we sent it to MB Westminster, they were as sure as I was that Mercedes had indeed damaged the headliner. Because the service writer (Kemal) was not extremely helful though the process thus far, I reached out to the service manager Jeff Blake. I spoke with Jeff on November 9th who basically pushed me back to his service writer Kemal. Of course nothing was getting done which prompted another call to Jeff Blake on 11/15, followed by a call to the GM Kevin Steward. Neither Jeff or Kevin answered their phones, so messages were left for both. After leaving these messages at 1 PM on 11/15, I received a call from Kemal at 5PM. Kemal informed me that he was going to reach out to Sil Terhar and ask them to pay for parts to repair the damage and that MB Westminster would take care of the labor. I wasn't sure why they thought that Sil Terhar would take care of anything with this repair because they had nothing to do with the damge cause by removing the head liner, but I let him proceed. Within a few days, I reached out to the manager at Sil terhar to see if Kemal reached out to them. Jake at Sil Terhar said that Kemal had indeed reached out and asked them to assist with the repair and that they were declining to assist because the damage was caused by MB Westminster while repairing the moon roof. MB Westminster provided 2 pictures of the damaged headliner, after they had taken it apart! Claiming that the damage was existing when the vehicle was dropped off. I received a call and email from Sil Terhar and they were amazed that I was being treated like this and that MB Westminster was trying their best to pass the buck. More
I made an appointment to have my 2016 Smart fortwo look over. I haven't been able to take the car there because of only one technician available. They gave an appt for today at 7:30 AM. I got up at 5AM, over. I haven't been able to take the car there because of only one technician available. They gave an appt for today at 7:30 AM. I got up at 5AM, drove through ice to be there at 7:30 AM. When they open, they would see me, because I needed to leave the car for a few days. I drove from Ft Collins, and I asked if they expected me to walk back 60 + miles. The Smart representative was rude telling me that they informed me it was going to take several day. I spoke to a Linda in scheduling and she was aware that I needed same day service, and I would wait for the car. Very disappointed, Wouldn't give a star, but had to to leave a comment. Hoping that if Smart comes back to US, they use a real dealer. More
What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if it’s still going to take 2+ hours just for an oil change. I get that it can get busy but how is it that my appointment is at 8:30am and my car doesn’t get still going to take 2+ hours just for an oil change. I get that it can get busy but how is it that my appointment is at 8:30am and my car doesn’t get started till over 10am!? Just frustrating having to wait with my car just sitting there. More
Respectful, courteous, on time. We were provided with a very nice loaner vehicle while our vehicle was serviced for the day. Outstanding service. We were provided with a very nice loaner vehicle while our vehicle was serviced for the day. Outstanding service. More
This dealership has issues in all its aspects, from service to sales, we our GLC300 in for a paint coating, they brought us a demo model and said they would let us know once it was completed, in commun service to sales, we our GLC300 in for a paint coating, they brought us a demo model and said they would let us know once it was completed, in communication I gave them my wife’s number to set up the exchange of vehicles, they even said they’d put it in the notes, once again Mercedes-Benz of Westminster screws something up, they tried to set it up with me to do the exchange even though I’m an over the road truck driver and was out of state. Come on Westminster get with the program and actually listen to your customers. I will never do business with this dealership again and in my own opinion they are a disgrace to Mercedes-Benz!!!!! They have almost no staff that actually work on Sprinters. It took a 4 months before I could get a simple service appointment. They charge enough that good mechanics shouldn't be that difficult to Sprinters. It took a 4 months before I could get a simple service appointment. They charge enough that good mechanics shouldn't be that difficult to hire. Something is wrong there. I don't know what...but something is definitely wrong there. I have no idea nor do I care who I dealt with so I gave all service managers a medium score. The fact is that the entire service department is sub par. More
Very informative about my problem. He knew the situation and the computer would correct itself. and the computer would correct itself. More
I can't say enough good things about our Sprinter service expert, Steve C. Thompson. We needed to have extensive service done for 2 recalls on our Itasca Navion RV with Sprinter chassis. (We'd taken it for s expert, Steve C. Thompson. We needed to have extensive service done for 2 recalls on our Itasca Navion RV with Sprinter chassis. (We'd taken it for service previously to Westminster Mercedes and Steve was the reason we always returned there. He's professional, knowledgeable, efficient, up front and honest, and always accommodating and friendly.) There was a LONG waiting period before we could take our RV in for these recalls (6 months), but Steve communicated with us, was open, honest, and understanding with our frustration about how long we had to wait to get the work done. He got us in as soon as he possibly could. I believe he went out of his way, above and beyond the call of duty, to help us get our RV serviced. Mercedes-Benz of Westminster does excellent work but it's because of Steve Thompson that we've gone there and will continue to go there! He's a gem...and we live 206 miles from this service center!
