End of last year I decided to bring in my 2010 Porsche Cayman S. My wife meet me at the dealer in her 2010 Cadillac Escalade and we both parked in two of the front parking spots and walked in. I was 23 Cayman S. My wife meet me at the dealer in her 2010 Cadillac Escalade and we both parked in two of the front parking spots and walked in. I was 23 and look like i'm maybe 12 maybe 15, no joke. I was with my wife she was 25 and looks about the same age as me. I was wearing jeans and an Old Chicago's T-Shirt and my wife was wearing jeans and a tank top. The looks we got were: "Where are those kids parents"; "I bet they just want a test drive" we wanted to trade for a new silver 2011 C63 AMG I had seen on the website early that morning. I located the car and started looking it over. It took about 10 min of looking at the car before we had anyone approach us and the first person to approach us said: "are you looking for someone?" I said "No, no one in particular... we would like to purchase this car." I kid you not the sales person said: "This car is $70,000 way out of your price range lets look at some of our used selection." We were shocked and speeches, we turned around and walked out. The look on his face when he saw us get into each of our $60,000 cars was priceless. We drove straight to Mercedes Benz of Denver and had no trouble what so ever. Not the slightest look from anyone that we shouldn't be there and they took great care of us. We even parked so no one could see our cars ahead of time. All they got were the "2 kids" and they treated us exceptionally! More
DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE. I have never encountered such indifference or incompetence. They managed to screw up the financial/title paperwork at every juncture of my transaction, and never encountered such indifference or incompetence. They managed to screw up the financial/title paperwork at every juncture of my transaction, and then treated me as if I were a nuisance for trying to rectify each mistake. The time and expense I have incurred via my repeated visits to the DMV in order to keep my car on the road are becoming epic. I guess I'm more distubed by their callousness than the breathtaking incompetence which caused my predicament --- which is why I'm writing this. I should mention that I received this type of customer non-service after purchasing multiple vehicles from them. More
This was the second new vehicle I purchased from Katie O'Neill. The first purchase in 2009 went fairly well though they snuck a $500 downpayment into the paperwork at the very end (I was annoyed as I had O'Neill. The first purchase in 2009 went fairly well though they snuck a $500 downpayment into the paperwork at the very end (I was annoyed as I had specifically said I was going to put $0 down but in the end I caved in). This time it was for a new 2012 vehicle. We had an arrangement that I would basically trade my old lease for the new one. I would be putting down a small amount of money this time. I would make one payment on a car each month, making the transition pretty seamless. I verified this last bit twice -- only one car payment each month. I didn't have my checkbook with me so they needed a credit card until I brought the checkbook in with me later. I verified that they wouldn't be using the credit card for car payments. I had already made one car payment on the old car that month, about a week before when I turned it in to them. A few days after giving them the old car I had another car payment for that car come out of my account. The dealership hadn't finished the paperwork on that car yet so according to MB Financial I still owned it. They would refund my money but it took six weeks. A few days after that surprise I found a car payment on the new car on my credit card. That's three car payments for that month! I spoke with Katie about this and how we could make it right. She was defensive and would not answer any of my questions. She stressed over and over how I loved the car and I wanted the car. That was never an issue. I still love the car. It was like I wanted to talk about apples and she would answer questions about oranges. Then she got really upset and quickly ended the call. I never even raised my voice. I think I was in shock that she'd throw away a loyal customer so quickly. That was weeks ago and I haven't heard from MB Westminster again. I guess they don't need my business! I still like the service department very much and I highly recommend them. However, if you want to buy a Mercedes I highly recommend going somewhere other than MB Westminster. More
These folks are ok for service, but they always seem to be bothered that you don't want to spend thousands of dollars on every little thing. Also, the last few times I brought in my car, they didn't have be bothered that you don't want to spend thousands of dollars on every little thing. Also, the last few times I brought in my car, they didn't have a rental I could use, although they advertise that they have them for service. The one time I did get a replacement car for the day, the gentleman that manages the rental cars was terrific. He personally kept me coming back. I also have no complaints about the quality of the work. I did feel good about that. I get the sense that the service guys might be commissioned. Unless you are on warranty, I would probably go somewhere else for service. More
Gentlemen: Today on his lunch hour, Terry Mason, took the time with me to check out a couple E55's that I am considering for purchase. Terry was thorough, professional, yet friendly to work with. He has give time with me to check out a couple E55's that I am considering for purchase. Terry was thorough, professional, yet friendly to work with. He has given me advice before, on his own time, as well. I can't say enough for how much help he has been to me. There is no doubt I will be bringing my car to MB Westminster for service. I know my car will be well taken care of. Sincerely, Terry Steen More
