THIS IS MY SECOND AUTO PURCHASED FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, THIS IS MY SECOND AUTO PURCHASED FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, ALTHOUGH I HAVE PURCHASED TWO ADDITIONAL MERCEDES IN FLORIDA. GREAT AUTO . I LIVE IN FLORIDA THIS IS MY SECOND AUTO PURCHASED FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, ALTHOUGH I HAVE PURCHASED TWO ADDITIONAL MERCEDES IN FLORIDA. GREAT AUTO . I LIVE IN FLORIDA BUT WHEN IN R.I. WE STOP IN FOR SERVICE.. THIS RECENT PURCHAS WAS GREAT UNTIL I HAD TO RETURN FOR THE FINAL UPDATE OF THE GPS SYSTEM. PURCHASED THE AUTO AND LEFT FOR A 3 WEEK VACATION, LEFT THE AUTO IN GARAGE AT MY SONS HOUSE. PRIOR TO LEAVING I ASKED THE SALES PERSON TO HAVE THE AUTO REGISTERED, PAY THE TAX AND ORDER A CHIP FOR THE GPS SYSTEM . I WOULD RETURN ON THE 6 OF AUGUST TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION AND COMPLETE THE SET UP OF VARIOUS DEVICES WITHIN THE AUTO . MIRRORS, INSTALLATION OF GPS PROGRAM, EXTERIOR LIGHTS, AND PICK UP THE REGISTRATION ETC. UPON RETURNING ON THE 6 OF AUGUST I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP, ( THIS IS 3 WEEKS AFTER THE PURCHASE) TO HAVE THE GPS DEVICE INSTALLED. I WAS TOLD THAT THE REGISTRATION AND TAX HAD BEEN MAILED TO MY FLORIDA ADDRESS. (NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR) BUT AFTER A VERBAL DISCUSSION THAT INFORMATION WAS FOUND AND RETURNED TO ME BY THE SALES PERSON. THE GPS I WAS TOLD, THAT THAT AS WELL WAS MAILED TO MY ADDRESS IN FLORIDA. HOW WAS I TO USE THIS DEVICE IN FLORIDA IF I WAS NOT FAMILIER WITH IT, BUT MORE IMPORTANT HOW WAS I TO DRIVE TO FLORIDA WITHOUT THIS GPS DEVICE? SO THE TASK WAS TO TRY TO PROGRAM MY PHONE TO DO THE JOB, AFTER 2 HOURS OF PROGRAMING IT WAS DECIDED THAT THE PHONE WAS TOO OLD TO PAIR WITH THE AUTO. THE SALES PERSON WENT BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET HELP , I ASSUME. HE CAME OUT WITH A (SD CARD FOR NAVIGATION 2019) IT WORKED. SO AFTER 3 HOURS OF TRYING TO COMPLETE THE SALE I DID GET HOME SAFE BUT, IS THIS THE LATEST VERSION OF THE CARD, DOES THE 2021 CARD DO MORE, AM I SHORT CHANGED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND MERCEDES, CAN I GO TO A LOCAL DEALERSHIP IN FLORIDA TO HAVE THE SD CARD CHANGED AT NO COST, IF IT IS NOT BEST SUITED FOR THIS 2021 MODEL??????? NOT HAPPY JOSEPH DEMARCO .PS FRANK MARINO DID THE BEST HE COULD BUT IN MY ESTIMATION THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, OR WERE NOT GIVEN DIRECTIONS IF FRANK WAS NOT A GOOD AND DIRECT SALES PERSON WE WOULD HAVE NOT PURCHASED THE AUTO AT THIS DEALERSHIP. . Brian went above and beyond to assist us from the minute we walked in to the dealership. From our many different test drives to comparing prices from other dealerships to keeping us informed on the phone we we walked in to the dealership. First trip to this dealer. The fees were high and staff was not helpful compared to other dealerships. I did not know my service contract had expired and got caught off guard with their higher than normal was not helpful compared to other dealerships.
