Took it in and after keeping it overnight told me that is just the way it is and refused to fix it. They obviously want me to believe that a loud clunking sound is normal. Complained to Mercedes National, they connected me to Walnut Creek dealer who hung up after hearing complaint. If you buy a car from them and encounter a problem, don't expect them to care enough to fix it. Have dealt with many Mercedes dealers in other states and have always been happy with service. This one is terrible and they clearly don't care. Do yourself a favor and do business with another Bay Area dealer. More
I had a great experience working with Omar. He was very attentive and spent the time listening to my concerns and took immediate action to solve them. He was very attentive and spent the time listening to my concerns and took immediate action to solve them. More
The worse service department I have ever dealt with. I am not buying another car from this dealership and will take my car for service to other dealerships. I am not buying another car from this dealership and will take my car for service to other dealerships. More
We noticed jerking after 5 days of purchase of our GLC 300. We immediately informed the Sales person and we were told it must the dynamic. 9 days after purchase date, there was a notification in the dashb 300. We immediately informed the Sales person and we were told it must the dynamic. 9 days after purchase date, there was a notification in the dashboard, can’t do reverse drive. The tow driver even mocked me by saying there’s nothing wrong with the car, I just don’t know how to drive a Mercedes Benz. Car ended up towed to the dealership. We were told the transmission valve was defective and needed to be replaced. Although the dealership people were very accommodating and responsive especially James, it’s very frustrating that brand new car that we perceived to be reliable is NOT. We got the car back however we have yet to see if it’s actually worth purchasing it. This is supposedly a brand new car. We will hold the company Mercedes Benz accountable and responsible if something happens to us while on board this car due to mechanical problems or factory defects. More
I AM VERY CONCERNED WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEFARIOUS WAY THEY DO BUSINESS UNDER THE GUISE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN IN REALITY ITS ALL ABOUT PROFITS. Horrible service! Horrible sales department. Bunch of vultures circling around trying to slam dunk cars down your throat. Massive sales pressure. Horrible service d Horrible sales department. Bunch of vultures circling around trying to slam dunk cars down your throat. Massive sales pressure. Horrible service department as well. Took my Mercedes here to fix a rattling truck area and they can’t or won’t or don’t know how to fix the problem- it was not fixed and the advisor simply told me to take my car back as is. Ridiculous. How about a phone call to discuss the issue? No- just a cryptic text message from a rogue text number to come pick up my car. And when i finally did reach my service advisor he did nothing to advocate for the problem the car was having saying there was nothing he could do. The service manager was no help either. And treated me as if i was speaking a foreign language when i also explained the problem of the rattling issue to his attention. He first tried to say it was the emergency brake but then apparently attributed it to the back up camera which makes a loud noise like an aluminum can crumpling every time it deploys and retracts…and it does this is a lot bc it deploys and retracts every time the car is put into reverse or drive or park and every time the vehicle goes above or below 15mph. How about recognize the fact that it’s a major problem and what is Mercedes going to do about it to fix the constant rattling noise problem? No, just here it is and if you don’t come get it we’ll start charging you storage fees. Handing my car back to me with a scratch on the door and bird crap on the hood made things extra special. I asked the service advisor who didn’t want anything to do with me at this point to have the scratch and bird crap addressed. So they put some car polish solution and buffed out both areas. they should not have ever handed the car back to me like that in the first place. Service center here is a total disaster and horrible customer service. -John Taylor -John Taylor More
I brought my car in twice over a moth ago for squeaky breaks. At the time they said that I didn't need brakes but I had a leak in my reservoir tank that needed to be repaired right away. I told my servic breaks. At the time they said that I didn't need brakes but I had a leak in my reservoir tank that needed to be repaired right away. I told my service advisor that I didn't see or smell anything that would indicate a leak nor have I EVER seen any lights on in my car supporting their findings. But he insisted that the work needed to be done so I had them do the work. A few days later a "check coolant" light came on in my car. I brought it back and was told that they needed to add coolant. A few days after that the light came back on. I made an appointment to bring it back. I dropped it off on 10/13. I didn't hear anything back so I called on 10/15. No one returned my call. On 10/18 I get a call from the service advisor telling me that they do not see anything leaking. I responded by telling him that there was NEVER anything leaking. He told me that they would have to remove something in the engine to see if the leak was in the engine$$$$$$. This is ridiculous!!!!! I never had a leak, never had a light on, and never had an issue with the coolant system before I let their service department work on my car. I had an oil change and a break inspection just before the "alleged" work needed to be done and they could see that there were zero warning lights on in my car. On top of all of this the service advisor casually added that my car had a dent in it. I was outraged. My car is in pristine condition. He went on to say that he already has a body shop coming to pick the car up because an employee backed into my car. They were going to send my car to the shop without telling me. They have had my car for 2 weeks; I have a car with a coolant light that will remain on because I will never allow Walnut Creek MB to work on my car again at my expense. I don't think I should have to pay thousands of dollars for my engine to be taken apart for a problem that I never had in the first place, and I have no idea how this paint job on the trunk of my car is going to look when/if I ever get my car back. I am very disappointed. I brought my car in for squeaky breaks and an oil change. This was the biggest mistake ever. I should have never let their team do work that most likely didn't even need to be done. I have never had an issue at any dealership with any of my vehicles or been scammed into having work done unnecessarily. Very disappointing. Never again More
