I am pleased to write a review of my experience with Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek and even more excited to call out sales consultant Kevin Rasul. I recently purchased my 2nd MB at Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek. I’ve always been pleased with the staff in the various departments and impressed with the looks and ease of the dealership and purchase process. When I set out to trade in my current car (BMW) and purchase a new one, I went to BMW of Concord initially; however, they couldn’t make a deal, didn’t have a large selection and I wasn’t real impressed with the sales consultant I was assigned to. I ended up leaving. A few hours later I got a call from Kevin Rasul with Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek after I submitted an online Inquiry. I explained to Kevin what I wanted and he said he would pull a list of options for me. We made plans for me to come down a few hours later. Long story short - I left with a new Mercedes Benz for the payment, car style and color I wanted. Kevin was a top-notch professional who went the extra mile in every way to get me in the car for the price I wanted. As a VP with extensive sales and marketing experience, I strongly recommend that the powers that be at Mercedes Benz of Walnut Creek ask Kevin to coach / mentor the sales team. Kevin is a pro! I should share that I was less than impressed with my experience with the finance guy, Greg (?). I think he would benefit from practicing a better game face when a client, a returning client, declines whatever add-on he’s selling. Perhaps just a training issue, but should be addressed. Worked initially with Angelique who helped me figure out the options I wanted and then she worked hard to find a car in Las Vegas that had exactly the options I wanted and had the car shipped to the dealer. She was awesome to work with. Then, she seamlessly turned me over to Jimmy at the dealer who told me Kevin would be guiding me through the paperwork. Kevin was absolutely helpful with all the paperwork we needed to complete to get me on the way to drive back home in my new car. I drove 2 1/2 hours to purchase the car here and it was worth the time and effort. Most of the reviews of this dealership are extremely positive, please totally ignore any negative reviews as they don't reflect the experience I had and what I observed others were having while I was at the dealership. I normally hate buying cars because of all the games and sleaziness involved. However, this was a totally first class hassle free experience. Great job Kevin and team !! More
