She was very attentive and professional by focusing on the traits of the vehicle that would interest us. She invited my wife and I to test drive each of the vehicles we were interested in, and she took the time to explain the typical mannerisms of each vehicle we drove. She was a source of solid, objective advice, which was something my wife and I needed during what would typically be a somewhat stressful event. She took us to Leo Dionisio – Financial Manager, who walked us through a fiercely complex process with ease. He took the time to find out our financial comfort zone, and explained the process. He then devised several payment plan options enabling my wife and I to decide on a plan suitable to our current situation. We can’t thank Leo enough for his time and effort. Sam Jenkins was wonderful. She sold me the used car I wanted, and showed me the items her dealership had already fixed. This gave me great confidence in the purchase. This certainly cut into the dealer profit, but it truly made the sale, and made a future repeat customer. More
When car was brought in for service for a problem with the transmission, recommeded flushing the system, which they did but did not chnage the filter, failure to do this has voided my warrenty. Not only did they not do this as it should have been, stated to warrent company that it doesn't need to be done until 5yrs or 50,000 miles. This is not what the printed manuel states is required. I now have a transmission that needs to be replace on a 100,000 car which had 31,000 at the time and now has 45,000. This problem existed and was brought in twice for the problem, the first time it was still under warrenty. I am so disappointed in MB. My previous SL500 lasted 12 yrs over 200,000 miles, and it was in the shop less and cost less than this one has already. More
Was not contemplating MB because do not care for the design of the ML. Stopped by the dealer because we were in the area at other dealers. INTRODUCTION: It is hard to know where to begin in INTRODUCTION: It is hard to know where to begin in describing how positive my experience was in dealing with Mercedes-Benz of Tyson’s Corner during INTRODUCTION: It is hard to know where to begin in describing how positive my experience was in dealing with Mercedes-Benz of Tyson’s Corner during the course of considering, and ultimately purchasing, a C300 sedan. Across the board, everything was first rate, and I am thrilled with my purchase, with absolutely no sign of buyer’s remorse. I feel like I got a great deal, and in fact, two full weeks later, I still smile upon getting into the car. Heck, I smile just looking at the thing sitting in the driveway! I am delighted to be able to write that, for I have to confess that like many, I am naturally inclined to be skeptical of auto dealers. After dealing with MB of Tyson’s Corner, I feel as though I have met a dealer that I would LIKE to do business with again in the future. What follows is a walk-through of what my buying experience was like, from start to finish. INITIAL CONTACT: I had not even planned to purchase a Mercedes. I previously owned a BMW 325ci, and was exploring the purchase of a newer version of the same. At my fiancé’s suggestion, I visited the Website for MB of Tyson’s Corner, and found myself attracted to the C-Class sedan. The website provided lots of pictures and information, and convinced me that I ought to at least go take a look. My fiancé beat me to the dealership that evening, where HAMID MAFIDI politely introduced himself, and in the time it took for me to arrive, she explained to him what I was looking for. THE SALES PROCESS: When I arrived, HAMID introduced himself in the most down to earth and sincere manner – completely contrary to the sales pitch personality I expected. HAMID (and several other individuals in sales that I had incidental contact with while there) struck me as very professional and low pressure. HAMID knows he has a product that literally sells itself, and he didn’t feel the need to give me the hard sell. I really appreciated this about HAMID, as I’m a pretty low key guy in general, so this approach works well for me. My fiancé had informed HAMID that I was considering another BMW as well, and rather than launching into a panicked hard sell with reasons why BMW does not compare to Mercedes, he simply acknowledged that BMW had fine cars too, and offered to familiarize me with his product so that I might be able to make the informed decision my visit there had been intended to do in the first place. We first identified the type of car I was interested in, and price range, and then he obtained a vehicle that we could take out for a test drive. When we got back to the dealership after the test drive, I told HAMID I was very impressed, and wished to give the possibility of purchase greater thought. My visit to MB of Tyson’s Corner occurred on a Wednesday evening, and I had made plans to visit my BMW dealer that Saturday. I told HAMID about this schedule, and my desire to “Sleep on it”, and rather than worry that he might lose the sale if I walked out the door that night without signing on the dotted line, he was completely professional. I told him I wished to move quickly, and would be in touch with him early the following week. THE PURCHASE: As one might expect, HAMID left me a message the following day, thanking me for coming in, and leaving his contact information should I have any questions. While this is simply good customer service, after having met HAMID in person, and witnessing him spend some 90 patient minutes with me the previous evening (going over options, pricing, and providing the test drive), I felt that there was also a good dose of sincerity in the call as well. Over the weekend, I had made the decision that the MB was the way to go. Things got busy at work, and by the following Wednesday, I had yet to get back to HAMID. A low pressure “just checking in” voicemail from HAMID on Tuesday was followed by a call on Friday, which I was happy to pick up on. I told HAMID I would be in the following day, Saturday. HAMID told me that he would ensure that the car I was interested in would be in the show room, detailed and available for easier, and closer, inspection. When I got there, the car literally jumped into my arms. It was a no brainer. But first, there remained a few negotiating details to address. NEGOTIATIONs & FINANCING: HAMID and I performed a walk-around of the vehicle, prior to closing the deal (I was buying Certified Pre-Owned). HAMID noted a couple minor items that needed to be addressed, as did I, and we agreed on how the fixes would be reflected in the sales price. This did require HAMID to discuss certain things with his Manager, ADOLF AFFUL , who himself worked to get me into the car by helping us settle on what I feel was a very fair price for all involved. ADOLF essentially said that he wanted his customer’s happy so that they would keep coming back. He could have also said “so that I would tell others”, for that is what I am most happy to do today through this review. The negotiation was important to me, for I wanted very much to feel good about my purchase, enough so that I would like to do business with MB of Tyson’s in the future. Confirming in my mind that the dealership was of good character was essential to me, and the dealership passed with flying colors. Once a sales price had been established, HAMID brought me over to the Financing Office, and introduced me to LEO DIONISIO, the business manager in that area. LEO walked me through some additional options I could add on (Extended Warranty, Tire and Wheel Replacement, LoJACK, Front End Laminate Protection, etc.). As I made my selections, LEO ran pro forma numbers for me, factoring in different amounts of down payments. When we hit upon a good combination, LEO drew up the paperwork, I signed, and I was out the door to my new car, which had been brought out to the parking lot and prepped for me. The whole financing process took about 35-45 minutes and was painless. LEO was a pleasure to work with – full of personality and very good at what he does. HAMID met me at my vehicle and walked me through how everything worked. Knowing I was eager to get driving, he handed me a couple complementary key chains, and urged me to call him with any questions that might come up. And with that, I was off. OVERALL ASSESSMENT: OUTSTANDING! As mentioned at the outset, my experience with Mercedes-Benz of Tyson’s Corner was nothing short of superlative. HAMID and his fellow professionals far, far, exceeded my expectations, and as a result, I now have a car I feel great about and a relationship with a dealership I actually LOOK FORWARD to dealing with during the life of the vehicle, and hopefully, several more vehicles to come. To be able to write those words evokes a remarkable feeling. I commend MB of Tyson’s Corner for making manifest in its operations the professional and customer-driven culture so clearly present. Through its actions, not only does MB of Tyson’s Corner acquit itself honorably, but it further burnishes the Mercedes-Benz brand, which in turn makes me an even happier purchaser/owner. Mike Skarlattos was a professional and a gentleman (I felt like I hit the "jack pot"), he made the buying process easy and very informative for me and my wife. He also went above and beyond to make sure that everything that I needed was taken care of in a short amount of time. Overall my car buying experince at Mercedes of Tysons Corner was the best ever and I would recommended Mercedes and Mike to anyone. More
I arrived on a very busy Saturday without an appointment, expecting to just review the pre-owned C-class Mercedes Benz cars that the dealership had in stock and then move onto a few other MB dealers in the a expecting to just review the pre-owned C-class Mercedes Benz cars that the dealership had in stock and then move onto a few other MB dealers in the area. The salesman, Feroz Naderpoor, quickly greeted me and asked a few key questions about the type of car and options that were important to me. Without hesitation or further research, he took me on a tour of exactly the right cars. It didn't last long! The fourth car was exactly what I wanted - a silver C300 Sport 4Matic with Navigation and a sunroof. Rather than close the deal and move on, Feroz suggested I try a few different models within my price target to ensure I had selected just exactly the right car. As I was reviewing them, he answered questions on each car's options and ownership history. Once I was sure (and it was my original choice), he gave me great advice on the warrantee option without steering me into choices I did not want or need. To ensure all of the little details were not forgotten he ensured the car was completely prepared for delivery and he took care of a few details that I had not noticed or had a chance to discuss with him. There was no doubt that his sole focus was to ensure I had a great experience purchasing the car - and I most certainly did! More
