This dealership is the most horrifying place I have ever visited to buy a vehicle or anything else for that matter. I was verbally assaulted being called a xxxxxxx by a salesman not even involved in the tra visited to buy a vehicle or anything else for that matter. I was verbally assaulted being called a xxxxxxx by a salesman not even involved in the transaction and was further insulted by comments referring to my height being called "little man" after complaining about not receiving my keys back after asking for over an hour. The manager on duty Mr. Ford was also rude and did not even attempt to resolve the problem and instead was indignant yelling at me in front of everyone in the dealership. Someone even dialed 911 because of the screaming and thank god because Tampa PD finally helped us get our keys back so we could simply leave. Asbury Automotive Group should be embarrased that the premier dealership in Tampa is being represented in this manor. Shame on Mercedes of Tampa Bay you are the worst example of how a customer should be treated! More

I did my automobile homework using the web and found what the automobile was selling for in the Sarasota area. I contacted 5 dealerships in west Florida and Mercedes Benz of Tampa was the first off the mark the automobile was selling for in the Sarasota area. The whole deal was negotiated without me going to the dealership or meeting Simon in person. After the deal was negotiated the other dealerships began responding (3 to 5 days later). Unfortunately their responses were too late and I had to tell them that the car had been purchased already. We waited about 4 weeks for the car to be built and subsequently picked it up. The car was exactly as agreed and we are as happy as punch. The dealership experience was positive as well. Simon was the same in person as he had been on the phone and on line. The other staff we met - the contract person and the customer service person were equally as pleasant and informative. I would recommend Mercedes Benz of Tampa and especially Simon Tickett to anyone who is contemplating the purchase of a Mercedes Benz. More
