I was in the market for a new car. my visit to Mercedes-Benz of Tampa was very pleasant. We were welcomed upon arrival and Robert Riccio was presented to us as our sales person. My experience dealing with Simon was great. He's on the ball - keeps you abreast of what's going on. I found a used car at Mercedes Benz of Tampa. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Kern Charles. The deal was fast and friendly. When I arrived at the dealership Kern had the car waiting and we went tog the dealership and spoke with Kern Charles. The deal was fast and friendly. When I arrived at the dealership Kern had the car waiting and we went together for a comprehensive test drive. I noted a couple of issues on the drive. Kern had the issues taken care of as a priority, and I was pleased with the results. Also, I dealt with Kim Davis who was the business person who finalized the sale. She was extremely personable and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend these employees and the Mercedes Benz of Tampa dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
Manny was my salesmen for my very first Mercedes-Benz. He was extremely knowledgeable about the model and put know pressure on me at all. He was very professional, friendly and accommodating. I actually went back to Manny less than a week later and bought a second car from him. Megan provided me with my new car orientation. She was very friendly, professional, and knew all the features of the car inside and out. She's a true expert on the cars features. She provided me with her contact number, and called me back immediately with all of my questions. She went the extra mile to get me my second key fob, when it was not found in the car. Matt did a great job in the Finance department. This can be a stressful situation, but Matt put me at ease and was very knowledgeable about financing options to suit my needs. Kudos to my "M" Team! I purchased a 2011 BMW online from Mercedes Benz of Tampa on or about 9/9/11. I paid all vehicle taxes and registration fees to register in the state of New Mexico. The temporary tag that came with the vehi on or about 9/9/11. I paid all vehicle taxes and registration fees to register in the state of New Mexico. The temporary tag that came with the vehicle has expired and there is no evidence the vehicle has been registered in NM as the dealership is required to do. The state needs a copy of the title so they can reissue another in NM. In short, I have a temporary tag that has expired and I'm currently illegally operating the vehicle. I have worked tirelessly with various employees of the dealership to resolve to no avail. They are very poor at returning emails/calls and escalating to their management does not seem to help. Absolute nightmare and I will never do businessess with this dealership again. More

He introduced me to the service manager and made sure the problem was found and then more than made up for the dropped ball I earlier reported/rated. THANK YOU MBofTB!!!! You have a customer and I will refer you to friends looking for a good car! (BTW it was a broken seal on the return fuel line...fixed) Give Bernie a raise he deserves it! **UPDATE: MBofTB have contacted me and we are discussing the problem...marks are moving up. I was told they are a reputable dealership, maybe it was just a mistake or oversight that caused this issue. I purchased a used car "as-is" and understand what that means, but before signing the papers I brought to the attention of the dealership that the vehicle had a strong fuel smell in the car and I was told they would not do anything about it. I did some research and found that topping off the tank can cause this, and then took the car to my local mechanic. They told me the likely problem was the charcoal filter and to take it back to MB of Tampa since I have had the car less than a month. Since the fuel smell has gotten worse, I called MB of Tampa as suggested and was told the manager who can make the decision was not in and they would call me back the following day with information. I called again to follow up a couple days later and was told, my call was not expected we need to find your file and we will contact you later. After I was not called back I placed another call, left a voice message and have not been called back. I am only asking for someone who can make a decision to speak with me and work this issue out but right now they seem to think that it is ok to shuffle me off as though I will get tired of trying and go away. I am not asking that they take care of cosmetic issues, but make it so I can drive the car without the fear of passing out from being poisoned by the gas fumes. We could probably resolve this issue quickly if someone would take the time to speak with me, but I am not receiving that minimum courtesy. I was so pleased with my service buying the car, but it is the service you receive after that really tells what a company is made of....and right now they are really showing their true colors.
