We had a 2010 E350C with four months remaining on the 39-month lease. We wanted a new lease for similar car, hopefully at a reduced month cost, to avoid near-term maintenance costs (40,000 mile service, 39-month lease. My wife called a number of MB dealerships around the state to check on availability and pricing. When we MB of Tampa Bay, we were put in contract with Adrian Sanderson. In the course of about two hours, we identified a new 2013 E350C, negotiated on price,and agreed to close the deal that same day--it was October 31st. Adrian offered to deliver the new car to our house in WinterPark, about 100 miles from MB of TB. We agreed instead to meet him about half way, which we did. We completed the paperwork in the lobby of the Gaylord Palms, exchanged cars, and went on our way delighted with the new car and more importantly with Adrian's courtesy and efficiency. Although we did not speak directly with the sales manager, it was readily apparent that he wanted Adrian to get the sale. There were several iterations on price, but each iteration took but a few minutes. Adrain and I exchanged about ten emails or phone calls in less than an hour, and Adrian and I reached agreement. We we took delivery of the car, we were surprised (perhaps "stunned" is a better word) when adrian offered us a gift pack to thank us for our business. This is about our eighth Mercedes, but the first from Tampa Bay. The others were purchased in the Washington DC area and in central Florida. This was the first instance of a gift to thank us for being a valuable customer. We will work with Adrian when this lease expires, and we will recommend him and MB of TB to all of our friends. The whole process took less than six hours from the initial conversation to driving home in the new car. It was like a sprint, and many things could have gone wrong, but none did. We had never met Keith until the day of the transaction and we were impressed with his knowledge and mannerism. We were in the process of buying an ML350 from Lokey in Clearwater, however, Ed pulled up the inventory and compared the two vehicles and -- hands down -- the one on your lot was the better deal! Jaden was very concise, efficient and quite knowledgeable in the briefing of the vehicle's many options. She was a very pleasant and friendly young lady. Matt handled our paperwork for the vehicle purchase and financing in such an organized and timely manner. We appreciate him expediting the processing of the documents for our signature as it was late and we were tired. He had a great sense of humor and kept a smile until the end. We were impressed that everyone stuck around until we were finished with the processing of our papers. Keith stayed until every last detail was completed. We tried to arrive by 5:30 pm but due to traffic we were delayed until 6:15 pm. After test driving the SUV, and finally agreeing to the terms, it was late and the good folks at Mercedes Benz of Tampa stayed until the sale was completed and we were driving off the lot. We had no intention of actually purchasing the vehicle that same night, but the entire sales group made it happen.
