Five Star Rating for Mercedes of Tampa! Especially for Sales Agent Mr. Alex Marrero. I drove into the dealership @ 2 PM on a Wednesday afternoon with my 2000 E-430 with 180,000 miles on it and wanted to Sales Agent Mr. Alex Marrero. I drove into the dealership @ 2 PM on a Wednesday afternoon with my 2000 E-430 with 180,000 miles on it and wanted to explore some Lease Options. Less than four hours later, I was driving home brand new 2013 C-250 Premium package dream ship. I gave Alex my BLUF: Bottom Line Up Front and he came through. He managed expectations of the Sales Manager and Management to my satisfaction. I received MORE THAN could be expected trade-in value for my car all the while making the numbers meet my BLUF request. I HIGHLY recommend working with Mr. Marrero--he is a no-non-sense professional. This was my First and Only good experience at a Dealership in Twenty Years of car buying! I showed up at Mercedes Benz of Tampa, 20 minutes after the dealership closed after having a bad experience with the local Cadillac dealership that day. The sales guy, Jerry Cardine, found me and was clear the dealership closed after having a bad experience with the local Cadillac dealership that day. The sales guy, Jerry Cardine, found me and was clearly willing to keep the doors open the work with me as I looked around. After explaining that I was in car buying mode, what I was looking at, and expected payment, he took me upstairs and showed me all the options I could want in the C Class model. After a very minor bit of negotiating I rolled out with a great car at a price and value that was exceptional. I really appreciate that Jerry and the team stayed after hours to walk me through my first Mercedes purchase. Now that is not the end of the story...by some fluke of manufacturing the car was in the service shop two days later for a broken fuel cell line which required a full fuel cell replacement. The dealership really shinned at solving the problem and making me a happy buyer. Obviously they fixed it..but because it was major fuel system surgery Jerry, and the GM, offered me the option of a brand new car as a replacement just so I would have confidence in the car. I have heard other similar stories where the dealer did not back up their product and reputation with their own money, however Jerry and Mercedes Benz of Tampa went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. Jerry took personal pride in making sure that, above, all I was satisfied with the dealership and the Mercedes Benz brand. They have earned a loyal fan in me and my wife and anyone I can share this story with. Thanks Mercedes Benz of Tampa..you have a great fan in me.. Thanks guys! More

After visiting the lexus dealer down the street and leaving not only unsatisfied, in my old car, and feeling like a second class citizen, we were driving by and decided lets just go LOOK at the new GLK leaving not only unsatisfied, in my old car, and feeling like a second class citizen, we were driving by and decided lets just go LOOK at the new GLK for my fiancé as the past 4 miserable hours had been all about me and my quest for a new car. From the second my fiancé and I walked on the lot we we greeted and treated like family. Kern came up and it was like seeing an old friend. He was elated to help us find the the car we needed not try to SELL me something I don't. After 4 test drives of just about every model on the lot he never pushed me or even asked me to buy the car. (Probably the part that sold me the most) I sell real estate so my car is more than a car to me. It is an extension of who I am, and gives an impression to future clients, its also my office. Traditionally leasing for my profession has always been unavailable and impractical due to the amount of driving we do. Kern took the time to educate us on the new way of leasing and the way that would work best for our situation and budget. He had us meeting with the leasing manager for all of our questions and there were a lot. My mind was blown. Its that care and relationship that I've been longing for with buying cars. We spent the whole rest of the day at the dealership and then came back the next day to drive the new C250 for myself and ended up special ordering one. I sold my car and they gave me a loaner to drive while I waited on my new one to arrive. Ive never been so happy to buy a car and will continue to buy mercedes from Kern. The relationship with a trusted advisor is what its all about for me, the car is just an added bonus. More
