Mr. Echevarria came to Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land on February 16th 2016 for repairs to his 2004 E320. He had a concern with the rear air suspension sitting all the way down on the wheels. The dealership diagnosed the concern as the rear air suspension air bags leaking. Mr. Echevarria was given an estimate to have them replaced and was told that the system would need to be retested afterwards to ensure the repairs. He authorized the repairs and Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land proceeded with them. Once the repairs were complete, the vehicle was retested and all systems passed. Mr. Echevarria picked up his vehicle on February 23rd and drove it 1,354 miles before returning to Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land on April 4th. He expressed a new concern, stating the air suspension warning light was now on. The dealership diagnosed the concern at no charge and found that his vehicle now needed an air suspension compressor as it was weak. It is not uncommon for a 2004 vehicle with 139,000 miles to develop other concerns and we certainly understand his displeasure. We have spoken with Mr. Echevarria at length and after careful consideration, we extended a discount and agreed to replace the compressor for a reduced amount. Mr. Echevarria has yet to accept or decline the offer which we extended. We value Mr. Echevarria’s business and want to keep him as a satisfied client.

I have declined the offer ever since talking to the person under Steve Stojack. They want me to spend more money and an not able to... I had it diagnosed by Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land so that I will be able to make an better informed decision. I was given information, after I paid out of pocket, that would of been very helpful in the beginning and which would have also led to a different decision being made by me. Unfortunately, I received all this information later when it was useless; the decision alrewady was made. It went from being parked in the garage, to the Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land service department, and then back to the garage where it sits now. Yes, I took a loss on this one, but hopefully others won't have to endure this same loss. Think about it: Car is messing up, you take it to a professional that advises you what to do, you pay $4,348.16, you drive 3 miles down the road and the light comes on, and eventually park it back in the garage. I've read other reviews and some people have had the same problem with Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land And it would be nice to know why Brian Ron said to me at one point "We're not your financial advisors." I agree, but I never asked y'all anything about stocks, bonds, treasuries, precious metals, investment properties, the currency exchange market, or anything of that sort.
