I went for service B early in morning and it turned out i also needed 4 new tires. Was told evening pick up. However, had to pick up 2 days later. The service department is unfortunately no longer reliable. My vehicle needed to go in for a service b and tire alignment. Unfortunately we have a new service representative, Nate... he's NO Charlie! reliable. My vehicle needed to go in for a service b and tire alignment. Unfortunately we have a new service representative, Nate... he's NO Charlie! (Our last rep who was promoted to manager... good for him but we miss him!) I arrived for our appointment (which I booked 2 weeks earlier) where a nice older man with a iPad greeted me and quickly checked me in. The Service Lane were FULL of customers. Nate arrived about 10 minutes after i arrived... he took all the info and when I asked for a quote (for an extended pre-paid warrantee) and he sent me to the rental stand to collect my rental since he knew it may take a while. This was another long line that took over 30 minutes to get through. Nate arrived empty handed and apologized that he couldn't get me the quote right now since his next customer had arrived. I was still in line for the rental - awkward but understood this was not his fault. He handed me his business card, the paperwork for my car and asked that I email him and he will respond with the quote. Okay.... So, I follow up via email while in line. Later that day he responds that he can't offer a quote for my vehicle since it's no longer offered for its year. I respond with a request to process the car for service as we discussed but received no confirmation. That was the only communication I received from him until I REACH OUT 3 DAYS LATER. He was not proactive, I never received any email/ text confirmation that my vehicle was being worked on, I had to reach out to him... and when I did, he said my car doesn't look like it's been worked on yet? This is NOT acceptable. He managed my expectations by asking if it was OK if it was done on that Monday... no problem...I can wait. This however was telling me both that you have no idea what's going on with my car as it is not a priority (mind you I'm paying well over $1,000 for this service call alone). It wasn't until my HUSBAND got involved and requested that he or Charlie get back to him that Nate actually called and was responsive with a tomorrow pick up. All in all, worst experience I've ever had at a dealer. It should also be mentioned that the car came back with a warning light still on... so, I'm not sure that they ever really did the full service review and work that was requested. I'm sorry to say this but - If at all possible, go somewhere else for your service needs. More
Upon arrival I was waiting for a valet to assist me as they use to come up as soon as you drive in for service. I waited for over 20 minutes and there was no one to assist me. I had no option but to drop off my keys in the owl drop box. I waited for over 25 minutes for the valet to bring my car and when I asked if someone was getting my car...I was asked if I had any paperwork for them and I wasn’t given any specific paperwork to give to the valet. But did show them my receipt. By this time a couple people that was waiting after me had gotten their car and I was still waiting and this went on until everyone else got their car!!!!! Needless to say I was the last person to get my vehicle. There was about 6 people that was their with me. Very disappointed since I’ve been purchasing my cars and strive for over 20+years More
Service was good and thorough but slow. My CLA 250 (bought 2 years ago, ~17K miles) got the check engine light on. The dealership took ~a week to diagnose the problem and order the parts required to fix it. We did not get a loaner car for that week as there is a 4 week wait for loaner cars. However, this kind of a problem cannot be pre-scheduled. The dealership gave us a loaner car after 1 week as the parts that they had ordered had still not been delivered. Our car was ready after 2 weeks. We were hearing a fluttering sound as well near the driver side door when the car went > 60mph. We went on a test drive with an engineer who was able to confirm that sound and spent some time to fix it. We appreciate the thoroughness of the service from the team. More
