On my recent visit to the dealership I met with a new service advisor which was very helpful. To me service advisors should play truly the role of advisors than the sales person.. service advisor which was very helpful. Deceitful and conniving, rip off the customer and only concerned with profits. I took my Mercedes in for the scheduled maintenance and received a loaner vehicle. I've previously bought tires from the d concerned with profits. I took my Mercedes in for the scheduled maintenance and received a loaner vehicle. I've previously bought tires from the dealership to replace my worn out tires in the past. During my time with the loaner vehicle, the tired popped and I was forced to pay +$400.00 for the loaner tire to receive my car back. When I asked the GM, Charley, why would I have to pay for the loaner tire when it's not my car even though I purchased tires for my car for my Mercedes which was under warranty, he gave me a xx excuse. I asked him if he was part of a 3rd party company and was cryptic and stated that he was part of Mercedes Benz Steven's Creek. However, I remembered talking to a gal months before on the floor and she had told me that they were a part of another company. Charly was cryptic and deceitful and did NOT mention that he was part of AutoNation. I put it together when I made the transaction on the credit card terminal because low and behold, "AutoNation" appeared. Then I remarked "AutoNation" to him and his eyes widened because he knew he was caught. I'll never buy a Mercedes again. To add insult to injury I spoke to AutoNation representatives and they told me that they would have someone call me to address my concerns. Charley left me two messages. I'm not interested in talking to him as he scammed me. I proceeded to call AutoNation a few more times and they assured me that someone from AutoNation corporate would call me. They never called or left a message and it's been over 2 weeks, they assured me twice that someone would call in 5 business days... Very disappointed and dissatisfied with AutoNation. More
I have been to this dealership for 20years for service of my 2002/E320 I bought at that place in 2002. Never had a problem. Charlie Fish (Advisor) there has been always professional, honest, upfront with recommendations with clear distinguishing between must-dos and not-so-neccessary fixes. This time (Feb/2023) however, I was assigned a new/different advisor, where it took several re-visits to the shop to get my 2002 / E320 working right for the EBS failure. There was a issue with the composite-head-light-switch that escaped / mislead some of the technicians resulting wrong diagnosis, causing the replacement of headlight, brake-sensor, then the accelerator pedal and still causing the problem to recur not to mention the cost associated all parts replacement in between - was quite frustrating. Nevertheless, my experience and trust with the previous advisors here over 20yrs kept me going there, and in the end, the good part is that, finally when one of the experienced advisor (Nate Johnson) took over and assigned a senior foreman to review, he diagnosed it properly - resulting in a inexpensive permanent fix costing only $100. They readily came forth - admitted what had happened and accepted ownership for the mistakes by the technician, and refunded the previous costs. That was very professional. Being a engineer myself, I understand sometimes things can be difficult in modern complex cars, interconnected components and difficult to diagnose. However, honesty by the dealer is much appreciated. I would always recommend this dealer, and would always go there - people are nice, friendly, timely, professional, honest and customer oriented. Nice, clean, very professional. The service manager I have, Susan, is amazing. Very cooperative and accommodating. But if she happens not to be there, the service drops dramatically The service manager I have, Susan, is amazing. Very cooperative and accommodating.
