I drove over 600 miles from NY to Grosse Pointe Farms and hit one pot hole. I needed a new tire. Don't count on them keeping an appointment I feel I must share my experience... I brought my car in for an oil change and asked for the Mercedes ME app to be activated. Oil change completed a I feel I must share my experience... I brought my car in for an oil change and asked for the Mercedes ME app to be activated. Oil change completed and Chris informed me that the app should be ready in a couple days. It never worked so I called schedule an appointment again with Chris, he informed me this would be 3-4 weeks out, in which I said OK and schedule me in. Week one passes by, no phone call, I call them they tell me 2-3 days…. Week 2 no phone call, I call them they tell me 2-3 days… I said forget it, I will pick up the car. I asked them what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you’re not even going to look at the car? They said other people repairs took longer than anticipated, I said then why don’t you call and tell me not to bring the car in because you’re not going to look at it for another 2 weeks!!! Just a waste of time for everybody….. Kind of embarrassing for everyone, who’s the shop manager over there, no time or service management. At least reach out before everyone wastes their time. By the way the people who activate the Mercedes ME app say it takes less than 5 minutes at the dealership... More

This dealership is honest and has integrity. I never feel pressured. In fact, they always take the time to explain what needs to take priority and what can wait until next visit. As a customer, I appreciate this. If my wait is a couple hours they always arrange a car or ride to travel to nearby shopping. More

It has to be one of the worst, A DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT FROM xxxx **Warning!!, going to this dealer's service dept will be at your own risk. It has to be one of the worst, if not the worst dealership service dept in the country. My wife and I recently purchased a E550. upon going through the service dept did my nightmares begin with this dealership service dept. one thing after another with the service dept. I had been warned some years prior, it had slipped my memory, but It came back to me after the 1st experience with the courtesy car washing service they offer, it left deep swirl marks over the entire body of the car. mind you this car is black.They told me that's how their equipment does on black cars. The 2nd time that i went in was to have a new rear emblem put on that had been order through the parts dept that i did doing my 1st time going in within a week of the purchase. I made mention to the service rep upon my arrival that i did not want the car washed under no circumstance, it was agreed. I waited for the service to be done it was just a matter of minutes for it to be done. When completed the service rep come and gets me from the customer lounge area, guest what! the car had been washed again with more swirl marks all over the car. So to make up for this the service manager at that time Idris Sherrod set me up with an appointment to bring it back in for a complete detail plus a loaner all on them. The 3rd time, this is a doozy. I had two blowout at the same time potholes front and rear right side. they claimed that the only damaged was the two blown out tires. Now prior to this incident i had four other tire blowouts at different times, do to bad roads and low profile tires. the 1st four times i paid out of the pocket for replace,this last time i made an insurance claim when the car hit it bottom out i was on the freeway bent the rims etc. But they say there was no damage other than the tires. I have to assume the reason for this finding is due to the insurance claim made, because the other four times i had blowouts they tried to tell me all kinda stuff they claimed had been damaged so they wasn't going to try that with the insurance co. it was the insurance co that realized that at least one of the bent rims needed to be replaced. this was by far much worst than the previous four separated times that i hit a pothole. So when i pick the car up and get home i discover that i have mixed match rims on the car. its not possible to make this stuff up. JOY comes out with the look of egg on her face. It took another four days for that to be straighten out. My wife turns the loaner in. she accidentally leaves handicap parking permit in loaner, within fifteen minutes i'm back up at the dealer loaner already gone back out. Joy calls Mrs Hunt who has the the car now, mrs hunt acknowledge that the handicap parking permit is in the car. The run around that got from JOY in attaining the permit is unimaginable, i made at least 20 + calls to Joy at various times even with messages she would not return one call. this is a period of almost a month's times doing this time i also went up to the dealership three-four times to talk to JOY personally and she would always tell me that the loaner was due in on that day that i was there or the following day, or she would call mrs hunt while i was standing there even to set a time that she (joy) could have a porter to swing by and pick it up. i even offered on two occasions to go and pick it up myself,but joy always insist that that wouldn't be necessary she would have one of her guys she say do it. I have been lied to pretty much through this whole ordeal, and finally but not least i could go on, i asked to speak to the service manager 6/22/18 but he wasn't in so the operator said she would get the message to him on monday. not to much after that call i get a call from guest who JOY. 1ST time during this whole ordeal after leaving messages after messages to tell me she was off when mrs hunt returned the loaner and she (JOY) haven't seen nor do she know where the handicap permit is. I don't know how any of this can be acceptable through this Mercedes Benz dealership not to mention the Mercedes corp. I hate even given this a one star. people spending 40,50,60,70,80,100,000 + of their hard earn money to be treated like this. Truly doing business as a low lever class establishment More
Unsatisfied Customer Brought my 2013 GLK 350 in for service because of a random whining noise. My vehicle was kept for a week and diagnosed as an electrical steering issue and was supposedly repaired. Upon driving my vehicle home the noise began again, so I returned to service the very next day, had the mechanic ride in the car with me to hear the noise I was experiencing and he went back to research the "bulletins" in an attempt to remedy the problem. I was told he found a "bulletin" that he felt addressed the issue and he repaired it. However, as I again drove home the noise persisted. I called back the next morning and was given an appointment for 2 weeks away. I took my vehicle in on December 20, 2017, and after a week, I called for an update to which I was told that because of the holidays, corporate had not gotten back with them. 3 more weeks go by and I'm finally contacted that my vehicle is ready for pickup. I go in on January 20, 2018 only to be told there is nothing they can do, and it is deemed a "normal noise". So you're telling me that on the 3rd request for service after attempting to fix it two previous times and having kept it for a month, the noise is normal??? What were you repairing the first and second time if this is normal? A $60,000 luxury vehicle should not be making any noise. To add insult to injury they returned my vehicle with the gas light on.( thank you David Dykstra for taking it and filling the tank) I was told that someone would be contacting me...still waiting on that call. Might I add that as of today, 1/29/18 the noise is still present. I am totally disgusted that Mercedes does not stand by their product. I will never buy another Mercedes, and I will tell anyone considering purchasing one of the horrible lack of service I received and to BEWARE! Rae Thomas More
