My AMG GLE Coupe seized up on the 405 fwy. I got towed off the fwy to South Bay MBZ. At that point we didn't know what happened to the car. I disputed the issue with MBZ. The repair required a new engine which cost about $26,000. I was out of warranty but felt the issue was caused by a failure of the vehicle. In the end I paid $8,300 and MBZ/South Bay picked up the rest. After 3 months I got my car back, but the new engine and everything has worked great since then. The car's failure at 33,000 miles was a very frustrating experience. However, I dealt with Linda Framel and she was great. She was prompt, honest, and informative. I would say I was a very difficult customer but Linda always was patient and fair with me. Especially patient and I very much appreciated that. Looking back she deserves kudos for how she handled my problem. More
