My wife had issues with her GLS550 which we had planned on taking on a long-distance trip in 2 days' time. I scheduled my appointment for 9 am and was told the part was in stock and service could be done in about an hour. The morning of the appointment I was going to run late and called to let the service depa was in stock and service could be done in about an hour. The morning of the appointment I was going to run late and called to let the service department know I’d be there at approximately 9:30. I spoke with Melissa. She said there was a 30 minute grace period and if I couldn’t make it, I couldn’t come it. I stated that I was told the day before that the day was completely open for appointments, how could they not let me come in 30 minutes late. If that’s how they treat customers I’d go to another location. Melissa hung up on me while I was talking to her. I showed up for my appointment at 9:15 and met with Frank. Said I would wait for my car because it would be done in an hour, 2 hours max. Frank requested expedited service. At 9:30 am I was seated in the waiting area. At 11 am Frank came to Tel me my park hadn’t been logged by service. Turns out they never even had it in stock while I sat waiting for an hour and a half. Completely waiting my time. Quite frankly the biggest waste of time after having to get a rental from Midway and coming back for my own car at 6 pm. I used South Bay Mercedes for convenience, but there’s a reason we haven’t bought our last two Mercedes from them. More
